Welcome to Puppy School Gloucester. Puppy School is a six week course for vaccinated puppies under 20 weeks of age at commencement of week 1.

We use the latest science based approach to dog training and offer support and guidance along the way. Puppy School Classes offer you a safe and fun environment for you and your puppy to learn about its new world. All training is undertaken using modern, kind effective and reward, science based methods. Puppy School Tutor
Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training

Council. Accredited Canine Hoopers World Instructor

We also offer:
Pre-puppy school home visits (just to make sure you have everything you need to support your new puppy)
Puppy School classes
Older dog classes
Hoopers Classes (like agility but without any jumping)
121 training for puppies and older dogs

🎓🐾 A HUGE congratulations to Oakley! 🐾🎓

What a little superstar! Oakley has officially graduated from his Puppy School At Home course and what a fantastic achievement it is. 🥳❤️

This graduation is a real family effort with Mum, Dad, Emily, Lucy and Ivy all getting involved in his training. Now that’s what we call bigging up the family commitment! 👏🙌

Having the whole family on board, working together and keeping training fun and consistent, makes such a difference. Oakley has been lucky to have so many people cheering him on and helping him become the best little dog he can be. 🐶💕

And of course, Oakley wouldn’t be Oakley without a little bit of character! 😂

One of his favourite things to do? He heads off down the garden to bark a goodnight to his sibling who lives opposite. Because obviously, no day is complete without checking in with your family across the way! 🏡🐾

Well done Oakley and a massive well done to the whole family. Your hard work, dedication and teamwork have paid off.

Huge congratulations to Lara, Ducky and Indie on completing their Puppy School journey! 🥳🐶

These three have worked their little paws off, learned loads, had plenty of fun along the way and of course provided us with lots of those adorable puppy moments we all love! ❤️ From learning the important stuff to mastering their skills (and probably perfecting the art of looking ridiculously cute!), they’ve all come such a long way.

What a fabulous bunch of little stars! ⭐️

A huge Puppy School congratulations to Ted, Percy, Lennie, Mabel, Pixie and Polly who have officially graduated! 🥳🐶

From wiggly bottoms and wandering attention to brilliant little learners who have worked their paws off, these six have come such a long way! 💪🐾

They’ve learned, they’ve listened, they’ve played, they’ve probably tested their humans’ patience once or twice… 😂 and most importantly, they’ve had FUN while learning!

A massive well done to all their wonderful humans too, because behind every clever puppy is an owner putting in the time, patience and plenty of treats! 🥰🦴

So, Ted, Percy, Lennie, Mabel, Pixie and Polly… throw those paws in the air, you’re officially Puppy School graduates! 🎓🐾

There was a lovely family reunion today, not just for the human sisters, but for their four-legged companions too! 🐾💙

One dog is a seasoned Puppy School graduate who has grown into a calm, confident older dog. The other is an excited youngster, counting down the days until Week 1 of Puppy School begins.

It was wonderful to watch them spend time together. The older dog gently showed the youngster the ropes, while the puppy soaked up every new experience with boundless enthusiasm. These early positive social interactions are so valuable with helping puppies learn appropriate communication, build confidence and develop great social skills.

We can’t wait to welcome our newest recruit to Puppy School Gloucester and watch their journey unfold. If today is anything to go by, he’s going to have an amazing time! 🐶✨

What a fantastic achievement for this lovely couple and their two gorgeous puppies, who have just completed their “at home” training programme! 🎉🐾🐾

Training two puppies at the same time is no small feat and especially two puppies that live together, but with consistency, patience and plenty of laughs along the way, they’ve done an incredible job. From mastering the basics to building confidence, good manners and a wonderful bond with their humans, Chalky and Jack have come on in leaps and bounds.

It’s been an absolute pleasure watching this little family grow together. Wishing you all many happy adventures ahead. Remember, training doesn’t stop here… every walk, every cuddle and every game is another opportunity to keep learning together.

These three superstars have worked their paws off, mastering new skills, building confidence and making their humans incredibly proud along the way. From wagging tails to well earned certificates, it’s been fantastic to watch their progress each week.

Congratulations to Lenny, Murphy, Lola and Dottie on successfully completing their 6-week puppy training course! Throughout the programme, they have shown fantastic progress, developing their confidence, learning important skills, and demonstrating wonderful manners. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn have been a joy to see, and they should all be very proud of their achievements.

Huge congratulations to Willow, Luna, Aggie and Mia on graduating from Puppy School! Over the past six weeks, they have filled every class with wagging tails, happy paws, fun, laughter, and plenty of puppy smiles. Their confidence has blossomed, their skills have grown, and they have all worked incredibly hard while making wonderful memories along the way. It has been a joy to watch their personalities shine, and they should be so proud of everything they have achieved. Here’s to many more adventures, cuddles, and tail-wagging successes in the future!

It’s been a tough and very personal week for me, and after having to cancel this week’s lesson because of the extreme heat, gestures like this from Dottie really make me smile.

The chocolates, the rose plant, and the beautifully written card with pictures of Dottie have made me feel so much better. Thoughtful kindness like this means more than words can say, and it has certainly lifted my spirits.

What a fantastic session with our latest Companion Bronze stars last night!

These young dogs worked so hard on their training and we finished the class the best way possible - with plenty of fun and play. Not only do the dogs love it, but play is a brilliant way to reinforce learning and build confidence.

One thing you can always spot in a Puppy School dog? They absolutely love a game of tug and know how to play it beautifully!
