Sadly, at this time of year, this is something we see all too often.
Cats are attracted to the sweet taste of ethylene glycol, a chemical found in antifreeze and screen wash. The results are deadlyβeven a single teaspoonful can be fatal.
Common symptoms to look out for:
β’ Vomiting
β’ Drooling
β’ Lethargy or extreme tiredness
β’ Wobbling or unsteadiness (acting "drunk")
If you suspect your cat has ingested antifreeze, please contact a vet immediately. Immediate treatment saves lives! πΎ
