Dear Clients,

We announce with a heavy heart that the riding school part of Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre will be closing at the end of April. This decision was reached after much deliberation and consideration and is not reflective of the joy and fulfilment it has brought us over the years teaching you all. We extend our deepest gratitude to you, our valued clients, for your unwavering support throughout the years. Your support has been the cornerstone of our journey, and for that, we are eternally thankful.

As we turn this page, Hargate Hill will continue to thrive as a livery yard, and we are excited about the opportunities to expand and enhance this side of our business.

We will be ringing our clients directly over the next few days to discuss this further and should you have any questions or wish to discuss this transition further, please do not hesitate to contact Jenna directly at 07773092197.

♥️🐴🌈 Humphrey 🌈🐴♥️

We received some sad news yesterday when we heard that one of our old retired school horses, Humphrey, had sadly passed away at the very grand old age of 36!!

Humphrey lived here as a working livery for many years, occasionally hunting at the weekends and working on the riding school the rest of the time. He was super fast, with a very, very active jump 🤣 He certainly taught you to respect the power of a horse of his type! Beyond that he was also a gentleman in every way, loved a cuddle and would never hurt a fly (on purpose anyway!)

After retiring he returned to live with his owner and his family in a field just above Hargate where we could still see him happily living the quieter life with a little friend.

🐰🐣 Hugo is here to tell you all about the Easter Show!! 🐣🐰

The show will take place as usual on Easter bank holiday Monday - April 1st. First class - fancy dress - starts at 10am. Details of further classes and times can be found in the picture below.

The aim of this show is for everyone to just have a go and have fun. There is no pressure to wear fancy show gear, or be the best rider in the world. It’s a lovely way to just join in a show without any pressure. All classes are open to everybody!! But if you need to hire a school horse for your class then you must book in advance please.
