Handsome boy Marley came prepared for the rain this evening ☔️🐾 Luckily, we managed to avoid it!

This was only our second walk together, and Marley was so much more relaxed and confident today. It’s been lovely to see him settling in already🥰we had so much fun!

Tonight I had the pleasure of taking Marley out for his evening stroll! Being such a loyal boy who’s very attached to his family, he was understandably a little unsure and anxious at first, eager to get back home. As the walk went on, though, he started to relax and warm up, and it was lovely to see his confidence grow. I’m sure that with a little more time together, Marley and I will become great pals. Looking forward to many more adventures with this handsome boy! 🐕💛

Before any walks begin, I offer a FREE meet & greet for you and your pup 🐾

☀️ HOT WEATHER DOG WALKING REMINDER ☀️

With the temperatures rising across Glasgow over the next few days, it’s important we all help keep our dogs safe and comfortable 🐶💛

🐾 Best times to walk:
• Early morning
• Later evening
Avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day when pavements and air temperatures are at their highest.

🔥 Pavement test:
Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for paws!

💧 Keep your dog cool:
• Always carry fresh water
• Stick to shaded routes
• Choose woodland walks, parks with tree cover, or grassy areas
• Avoid intense exercise or long walks

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy
• Vomiting
• Difficulty walking

If you notice any of these signs, move your dog somewhere cool immediately, offer water, and contact your vet.

Remember — dogs would much rather miss a walk than become unwell in the heat 🐕☀️

Weekend walks with the gorgeous 1-year-old Frenchie, Bluey 🐾🩵

Bluey joined us for both Saturday and Sunday night walks while his mum was working nightshift, and even with only a few days’ notice we were more than happy to accommodate 😊

He was such a playful little character from start to finish, full of personality and energy, but also incredibly well behaved on his walks, although at one point we had to have a negotiation with some treats for him to surrender the football! 😂 even though the weather wasn’t great, we still had loads of fun!

Had the absolute pleasure of taking Cardi & Luna out for their evening stroll tonight while their mum and dad celebrate their engagement 💍✨

Cardi, a strong and lovable bulldog, and Luna, a little Frenchie full of personality, were both an absolute dream to walk. Each with their own style, but so well behaved!

We enjoyed a lovely 30-minute walk, made sure they stayed hydrated as it’s still quite warm (especially for Glasgow!), and of course… a few well-earned treats along the way 🦴💧

This is exactly what Bark After Dark is here for — whether you’ve got a party, event, or special night out planned, you can relax knowing your pups are in safe hands 🖤🐾

🐾💛Meet Alfie — a little white Frenchie with endless energy, a nose that never stops sniffing, and a very strong belief that every pocket contains treats.

I’ve been helping care for Alfie since the day he was born, so it’s been so lovely watching him grow into the hilarious, energetic little character he is today.

Today’s visit included plenty of sniffing, a few zoomies, and of course some well-earned treats along the way.
As well as evening visits, I’m also available for daytime visits at weekends, perfect for toilet breaks, walks, playtime, or just some company while you’re out.
