Walking with the incredible Dexter, part 2: Electric Boogaloo. Dexter was so well behaved, with a shocking amount of energy and enthusiasm for his age! We even managed to lose a tennis ball (don't worry Dexter we have a few spares just for you!)

Hello, from the Tartan Tails team! Having just completed our first official walk with the amazing Dexter, we wanted today to show off some of the natural beauty of Dennistoun. Alexandra Park is one of a couple of excellent venues we look forward to visiting with your dog. A combination of open fields, walking paths and ponds with wildlife makes this the perfect spot for all dogs.

Meet the dog walkers part 2

Hello, I am Iona. I had a dog called Rover when I was growing up. He was a lovely collie and that started my love of animals. As well as Rover I had a rabbit and a guinea pig, named Thumper and Busby respectively.

I love the outdoors cycling and walking. I especially love to escape to Spain, where the weather is lovely and the cycling routes are great too. So I thought setting up Tartan Tails would be a good way of combining my love of animals and the outdoors. Spending more time with my son and launching it as a family business is also a great experience.

I also enjoy completing jigsaw puzzles, watching sport and playing golf.

Meet the dog walkers part 1.

Hello, I'm Gavin. I have had a love of dogs from an incredibly young age. I was inspired to set up Tartan Tails by my good friend and work college Laura who works as a dog walker under the name Muddy Tails. It is a dream come to be turning one of my first passions into a business.

I have a love of travel, the outdoors and nature, which allowed me the incredible opportunity to live in Canada for a year and a half. Canada was an amazing experience for hiking, good food and its incredibly friendly locals ( including my very good fluffy friend Ernie who you can see pictured in this post!).

Some hobbies I enjoy include chess, golf and exploring new countries. I have also recently tried my hand at wild swimming!
