Effin, EblanaHalls Kiss Curl JW, who is sitting on 2 CCs and 3 RCCs, had a wonderful critique for placing 2nd in Limit, from breed specialist judge Dr Anne Griffiths (MANAWYDDAN) at the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of GBs Open Show South held in conjunction with Southern Counties Championship show.
'2. Lui’s Eblanahalls Kiss Curl JW. Another quality bitch, this 3 year old girl is active, short coupled and upstanding and exuding terrier type. Her coat is of good colour with a nice wave and flows when she moves, just preferred the texture of 1 today. Her head is of correct proportions and her medium sized ears are well set. Eye colour and pigmentation are good and mouth and dentition excellent. With good fore and hind quarters she has a level topline with well set tail. Moved well with reach and drive and pushed hard for 1st place.'

Love this critique for our boy Lustre who won RESERVE BEST DOG, from breed specialist judge Dr Anne Griffiths (MANAWYDDAN) who judged us last weekend at Southern Counties at the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of GBs Open Show South.

"1 1.Lui’s Eblanahalls Gold Fascinus JW, At 12 months old this strong, muscular, well balanced, compact boy demands attention. He stands four square with head and tail up and is certainly a happy dog full of character. His coat is at a difficult ‘in-between stage’ but is a good colour and developing a nice wave. He has good head proportions, planes and well defined stop. Jaws are strong and excellent scissor bite. He has good depth of chest, well laid back shoulders and straight forelegs with good bone. He holds a level top line on the move and has a well set, well held tail. Rear quarters are muscular, stifle well bent and hocks well let down. Pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog in Show and look forward to watching him as he matures."

Today in the positively tropical climes at BATH Championship show, Lustre, EblanaHalls Gold Fascinus JW, won 1st Junior dog, and his 3rd RCC in 3 weeks under judge Mr Ken Bartlett. Many thanks and sincere gratitude to our judge. We are delighted that he liked him.

We both struggled with the heat despite having the big fan and cold water and it turns out, that the cool coats work much better if you don't leave them at home!

Effin's BEST OF BREED critique from last week's SKC CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW, from breed specialist judge Dr Anne Griffiths.
"OB 5 (0) 1 Lui Mrs L N, Eblanahalls Kiss Curl JW This 3 year old girl, at one with her handler, caught my eye when she came into the ring. She has good length of flowing wavy coat of excellent colour and texture. She is active, short coupled, strong and well built exuding terrier type. Her head and skull are flat, moderately long, of medium width and with well defined stop. She has correct eye colour with back rim. Mouth and dentition excellent. Medium sized ears correctly set. She presents an excellent profile with moderately long muscular, slightly arched neck running into well laid back long shoulders. Her back is strong and level and ribs well sprung. Fore and hind quarters are well muscled and pasterns are strong and springy and feet compact with good depth of pad and black nails. She has good bend of stifle . She moves well with excellent reach and drive. Delighted to award her BEST BITCH and BEST OF BREED"

How's this for a speedy critique from breed specialist judge Dr Anne Griffiths at the SKC, where Lustre won BEST DOG.

Thank you so much to our judge for such a thorough critique.

"PGD 1 (0) 1 Lui, Mrs L N, Eblanahalls Gold Fascinus JW Despite being the only dog entered in the breed this boy did not disappoint. At just 12 months he exudes quality and breed type and excellent wheaten temperament. Always in tune with his handler he is strong, well built and very well balanced without being exaggerated in any way. His profuse coat is a good colour and I look forward to seeing it once fully matured. His correctly proportioned head is powerful and masculine. His lips are tight and black and he has large teeth and perfect bite. His strong muscular slightly arched neck runs into long well laid back shoulders. His forequarters are straight with good bone and muscle. He has good width of chest and spring of rib. His body is compact with short loin and level strong back, Excellent tail set with tail arching gently over his back. Hind quarters are strong and muscular with well bent stifles and hocks well let down. Moves true with reach and drive. Delighted to award him BEST DOG and to see that he was awarded RDCC in the All Breed Show following this show."

Delighted to share that when just 11m old, Lustre, , was awarded his Junior Warrant at the National Terrier Championship show and given his STUDBOOK NUMBER qualifying him for Crufts for life.
He will now be known as EblanaHalls Gold Fascinus JW.
Since that show, he has also been awarded 2 RCCs.
We are so pleased with this boy who never lets us down.

Today Lustre, EblanaHalls Gold Fascinus JW won his second RCC within a week, under terrier specialist judge Mr Bob Blackley.
Lustre, was also sporting his 'big boy' haircut today for the first time too.
Many thanks to our judge, we were absolutely delighted!!!
