Only brought 4 rats to this show and didn’t enter any in pets as my best rats are on litters just now. The pet judge told me after judging was over that had my bucks been entered in pets, they would’ve done quite well under her on the day 🙈 - I’ll know for next time I guess!

Only just getting round to posting this as I’ve been so busy lately.

The Wildlings were at home attempting to make the first generation of English dumplings, so didn’t have many rats to bring to this show.

Cages finally all set up in my new rat room! The rats were living in fully kitted cages but I just needed time to organise and maximise the space’s potential.

3 critter nation units dismantled, 5 units assembled, 2 perspex bases taped, 6 cages fully deep cleaned and redecorated and a whole load of organising in 12 hours over 2 days, I’m so glad tomorrow’s a bank holiday 😂

Triple critter nation split into a single underneath with 40cm dropped base perspex for my younger bucks and a double on top with 30cm perspex for my older does.

Double critter nation split into a single underneath with 30cm dropped base perspex for my younger does and a raised single on top with ~30cm perspex for my older bucks.

Single critter nation with 30cm dropped base perspex for my dwarf does and a furat on top for my dwarf bucks.

I’m running low in substrate hence the partially filled bases 🙃 I also know they have a lack of chew toys, I know I shoved them somewhere - I just need to find them, they’ll survive for now!
