💬 About Me
Mira is an absolutely gorgeous little girl with a lovely, happy personality and a whole lot of puppy enthusiasm! She's curious, playful, affectionate and always ready for a bit of fun.
Mira's story began when she and her brother Buddy were found all alone in Romania. Thankfully, a kind Romanian family took the two puppies into their home, keeping them safe and cared for while help was found to secure their futures.
During her time in foster care, Mira showed everyone what a wonderful little puppy she is. She got along beautifully with the other dogs and even the cats, loved being around people and was always happy to enjoy a cuddle or a good play session.
Unfortunately, Mira is now in the shelter, and while she's safe, it's not where we'd love to see this gorgeous girl spending her puppyhood.
At just 5 months old, Mira has so much growing, learning and exploring ahead of her. She's at that wonderful age where everything is an adventure, whether it's discovering new smells, playing with other dogs or simply enjoying some attention from her favourite humans.
Like any young puppy, Mira will need a family who understands that bringing a puppy home means plenty of patience, positive training, socialisation and guidance as she grows. Although she has previously experienced life in a foster home, moving to a completely new environment will still be a big adjustment.
We would absolutely love to see Mira leave shelter life behind and get back to enjoying all the little things a puppy should. A comfy bed, toys scattered across the floor, adventures with her family and, of course, plenty of cuddles!
She's such a lovely, happy little soul with her whole life ahead of her. All she needs now is someone to give her that chance.
📍 Currently in Romania - can travel to Scotland 🏴 in November
ℹ️ Important !
We currently only rehome within Scotland. This is because our rescue back-up is currently based in Scotland, and we need to ensure we can provide appropriate support should an adoption not work out. As the rescue grows and our support network expands, we hope to open up adoptions to other areas in the future.
❗️Many of our dogs come from challenging backgrounds and may have had no previous experience of living in a home. They may require time, patience, and consistent guidance to adjust to family life.
Ages and adult sizes are estimated by shelter veterinarians and volunteers and cannot be guaranteed.
All dogs travel fully vaccinated (Rabies administered on entry to shelter, plus DHPPI, Lepto and Kennel Cough where appropriate), microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and health checked prior to travel.
Dogs are screened for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Lyme disease, Giardia and Leishmania. Brucellosis testing is carried out via a DEFRA-approved laboratory. Results are recorded in the EU passport.
