CATFLAP

CATFLAP Catflap is a Scottish charity (SC026114) dedicated to rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens around the Glasgow area. We are based in Bearsden.

CATFLAP is a small Glasgow-based charity, staffed entirely by volunteers. We have a small rescue shelter in Bearsden and an increasing number of feline fosterers around the area, but never have enough spaces for all the cats we are asked to take in. We are open by arrangement only since the shelter is at a private home. Please do not just turn up at the door! Please note that we are unable to offer boarding for cats, but can often recommend a boarding cattery in your area.

Young, female, tortie/white, friendly. Not micro chipped. Spay status unknown. Photo shows relevant identifying markings.

It's that time of year! If you adopted your cat from Catflap between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026 then your cat could appear in our 2027 calendar.
Email your photos (a maximum of 6, please, portrait orientation preferred, good resolution) to [email protected] to have your cat considered. We always have such a struggle choosing only 13 photos for the calendar!

Entries will close at 5pm on Monday September 14th, so let's be having them!

Why should kids have all the Halloween fun? Join us for a country music themed disco for adults of all ages. 30th October, 7.30pm-midnight in Barr & Stroud Bowling Club, Anniesland (next to David Lloyd). £10 per ticket, all proceeds to CATFLAP in memory of Toby - I'm sure he would be a country music fan, he had great cowboy swagger!
