This big lad is Benji! His family contacted me concerned about him lunging at people, bikes, dogs and anything slightly unusual. Today he calmly passed barking dogs, bikes, people, buggy and child!
I'm so proud of this fabulous dog and his amazing people. They've worked their socks off!

Puppy class finished up last week with these little stars gaining their certificates!
You all worked so hard with your puppies, none of whom were easy! So it's a big "Well done!" to Lesley and John with Watson the Tibetan Terrier, Agnes and Nicola with Niko the Collie, Cheryl and Diane with Ralph the Border Terrier and Teena with Preston the Collie.
Sadly Diane and Flynn couldn't manage tonight - we missed you!

Good advice from The Natural Vet. Take care, everyone!

Tonight is Bonfire night, which for many of us pet owners can be one of the most daunting evenings of our year!

Loud noises and flashes can naturally cause distress in lots of our pets, so here is a helpful run down of things you can do to keep your pet calm this evening

🚪 Ensure that windows, doors and curtains are closed
🏠 Create safe places around the home where your pet can get comfy if needed
📺 Play some relaxing music or put the TV on block out the sound
🐶 Make sure to walk your dog and let it take it's toilet break before it gets dark

If your pet does show signs of distress, remember to stay calm and comfort them 💚

Excellent information here!
Parents and dog owners, educate yourselves about your dog's body language. Too many young children get bitten and often it's because we as parents cannot read and understand what our dogs are saying!

Just popped in to the Open Day at The Natural Vet today. It was lovely to be back after such a long time off. And how impressive is the new shop?? If you haven't been yet, its well worth a visit. Congratulations to Adele and her wonderful staff!
Happy to say my classes will be resuming there soon! Keep an eye on this page!
