I never started this page because I wanted to get famous or become the next big trend.

Unfortunately in this day and age no one uses the yellow pages, and using social media is just a part and parcel of running a business these days.

It has its good, its bad, and its ugly 😅 especially when you’re a dog trainer.

My promise to my followers (and myself) is to continue my journey, improving my craft and bring you guys along for the ride, however smooth or bumpy it may be.

If your dog trainer claims to be the foremost dog behaviour expert in Glasgow but has to pick their dog up like a suitcase then you should find another trainer

No-pull leads? No-pull collars? No-pull harnesses?

They’re all a gimmick guys, there’s no tools that are specifically made to stop pulling on a lead.

That’s what training is for, tools can help but in and of themselves they don’t work.

Had Etho now for 10 months, and even though that’s just a fraction of all the time I’ve spent with dogs, he’s definitely taught me the most.

Oscar - 9 month old Shar Pei x Lab

Called out to help mostly with lead pulling, jumping and impulse control.

Oscar’s owners are of retirement age and his mum has recently been released from hospital after having a pacemaker fitted, so it is extremely important for them to be able to walk him safely without risk of injury to themselves, Oscar or another person/animal.

After our second session today I’m pleased to report that his puppy parents have been doing their homework and it’s been showing - today he was much more respectful of my personal space, less demanding and more in tune with his owners on walks.

While he still has a ways to go before we even consider getting him off lead, I’m happy with how the clients have been progressing with him just in our last 2 sessions alone, and I look forward to helping them achieve their ultimate goal of having a dog they can trust to take anywhere without it being a whole rigmarole.
