New paws this week 6 month old Milo, he’s a lovely boy, if big for 6 months.

Milo belongs to a former employer, in those days there were 4 black labs and a collie cross as well as 3 horses. It was a full time job back then some 30 years ago.

This week I am taking milo out for his morning and afternoon walks before and after work, so Struan and his young family can get a wee holiday.

Rest of the time him and Toby the other much older lab are at home with Granny.

Monarch had decided it’s too much effort to eat breakfast standing up this morning. Love spending time with this boy.

It’s going to be a busy week.

Hi all, I hope your all well?

The 2027 diary is now open, 2 bookings have already been taken, wish I was that organised.

After a lovely 2 weeks off in Lanzarote, I am back to looking after your animals and pets.

Very few dates left for 2026, maybe a couple of weekends here and there.

But 2027 is now open, for all your holiday cover needs, Dogs, cats, hens, sheep, cows, horses and ponies etc.

Areas I can cover, during school term time, Drymen, Balfron, Killearn, Kippen, fintry, Thornhill Aberfoyle, Doune, Blair Drummond, Stirling, Dunblane, Killin, Strathyre.

Outside of school terms I can be more flexible with areas covered.

I am looking forward to being with Bailey, Tia and the bunnies for the next ten days.

Ok note to self, never think you have enough time after the first clap of thunder, to feed and de fly rug 3 Clydesdales before the rain starts.

Fab animals tho even the 2 year old gelding never moved as I took off fly mask while a shot of lightening went off and several thunder rumbles were heard.

Completely soaked through.

Another weekend, another set of animals to care for, this time some sheep , Rylands, couple of ponies (one lovely Highland) 2 collie dogs, and 6 rehomed hen, who are laying well.

How cute are these lambs, when you’re not tripping over them or having your ankles bitten, yes lambs bite.

📢IMPORTANT MESSAGE📢

We are receiving a huge number of concerns from members who have witnessed members of the public & tourists jump into farmers fields, take selfies with cattle, and even sit on the cattle.

Highland cattle might look gentle, but they’re powerful animals — and especially protective when calving or when young calves are on the ground.

Please don’t enter farmers’ fields or approach them for selfies, they are not selfie props.

It puts you at risk and causes stress to the cattle, particularly mothers who will defend their calves without hesitation.

If you want a close up experience, visit an organised Highland cattle event run by experienced breeders where safety and welfare come first.

Hi all not been so active on here over last couple of months, but the busy time of holidays is coming up, so hopefully lots of dogs, cats, ponies and the odd sheep to share.

Thanks to all my returning clients as well as those of you new to Conich Creatures, who have all been well organised with their holiday animal care plans for 2026.

They are so organised, I have very limited space for the remainder of 2026.

2027 has already started believe it or not - first booking in for a local family wedding…

Leo having a wee pose tonight. 🐾
