A wee reminder of our salon policies!🐾💙

We’ve put together some important information for all our clients to have a read through before their next appointment at Jetts.

This covers everything from booking through Fresha, deposits and cancellations to choosing the correct grooming service for your dog.

Our policies help us keep the salon running smoothly and ensure every dog receives the time, care and attention they deserve.

As always, your dog’s comfort, safety and wellbeing will remain our number one priority. 💙

Sorry we have been a bit quiet here, our Olivia is away stalking Luke Combs I mean enjoying his concerts 🤣 and Dom is on “Paw-ternity Leave” (you simply must follow her Finn’s Emporium for the puppy spam as well as the best dog food, treats, toys and more 🥰)

Dom popped in today though to help out Blu who was needing a good groom and tidy up!

This beautiful girl is a Mammut Bulldog, isn’t she gorgeous?
We’ve never seen one in person before so loved getting Blu in for our Bully Breed Spa Special 🥰
(She has a wee sore eye just now but getting medication for it 😉)

Olivia Gorgeous Dog Grooming and Dom are back fully on Tuesday and will get back to all messages then 😊

How Beautiful does Stella look after her Bully Breed Spa Special with Dom 😍🥰💞
Stella had been spayed recently so her coat was a bit dry and flakey with the hormonal change, so she needed the nourishing mud bath to help bring her coat back to healthy and shiny.

Here we have pictured the products used during her spa (just missing the blueberry facial sorry!)
We partner with Finn’s Emporium | All Natural Pet Treats & Products in Scotland to use their amazing grooming range made in house which is fantastic for bully breeds as well as most other breeds too! (We’ve heard of humans using the Schnoz butter too before, good for a lip balm and healing tattoos fyi!)

Remember for full grooms to get booked in asap, Olivia is booked out until mid August now and her wait list for last minute cancellations is closing in on double figures so make sure to secure an appointment and add yourself to the wait list if you will be needing a groom in the next few weeks.

☀️ HOT WEATHER POLICY ☀️

At Jetts Grooming Spa, your dog’s health, safety and welfare will always come before their grooming appointment.

As much as we love seeing all of your gorgeous pups, grooming is hard work. Standing for long periods, bathing, drying and grooming can all raise a dog’s body temperature, particularly during hot weather.

Some dogs are at a much higher risk of heat-related illness, including:
🐾 Flat-faced breeds
🐾 Elderly dogs
🐾 Puppies
🐾 Overweight dogs
🐾 Dogs with heart or breathing conditions
🐾 Severely matted dogs
🐾 Giant breeds

🌡️ If temperatures reach around 28°C or above, or if we cannot keep the salon at a safe, comfortable temperature due to heat or humidity, we may need to shorten, amend or postpone appointments.

If this happens we’ll always:
✔️ Contact you as early as possible
✔️ Rearrange your appointment at the next available opportunity
✔️ Prioritise welfare cases where appropriate
✔️ Offer alternative services where it’s safe to do so

These decisions are never taken lightly, but we’d always rather rearrange an appointment than risk a dog suffering from heat stress.

Beautiful Maggie came in for our Bully Breed Special Spa with Dom.
She thoroughly enjoyed the pampering including some free belly rubs by Olivia at the end 🥰💕

They get a mud bath, shampoo, blueberry facial, de-shed, nails done, face clean including folds, the deeper the better lol! Tail pocket checked too if they have them, ears cleaned, finishing spray and perfume. But most importantly they get loved up and cuddles 🥰
