🦷 A little dental TLC for Ozzy 🐾

Ozzy the frenchie recently visited us for a dental and epulis removal.

Epulis are growths that can develop on the gums. While some epulis can be cancerous, others are benign, so removing them allows us to find out what type of lump it is and helps keep your pets mouth healthy and comfortable.

Ozzy was a superstar throughout his visit, and we are so pleased with how he did.

🦷 Our Pet Health plan offers 15% off dental treatments!

Regular dental care is an important part of keeping your pet healthy and happy, so our Health Plan can help make looking after those pearly whites a little more affordable 😀

🐾 Kaiser is back for another visit!

This time Kaiser popped in for a nail trim (& treats!) - something that might seem like a small part of your pets care, but can make a big difference to their comfort and mobility.

Keeping Nails at a healthy length can help:
🌿Maintain good paw posture and movement
🌿Reduce pressure on the toes and joints
🌿Prevent nails becoming overgrown, cracked or painful
🌿reduce the risk of nails catching or splitting
🌿Keep those paws happy & healthy

Regular nail trims can also be particularly helpful for pets who struggle to wear their nails down naturally.

Well done Kaiser 💚

Fleas, Ticks & Worms - Protection Matters All Year Round!

Living in Scotland doesn't mean your pet is safe from parasites. While the cooler weather may slow flea and tick activity, they can still be active throughout the year, especially in warm homes, woodland areas, long grass, and during milder spells.

Regular parasite prevention helps protect your pet from:
Fleas - which can cause itchy skin, allergic reactions, and infest your home.
Ticks - which can carry diseases and are commonly picked up on walks.
Worms - which can affect your pet's health and, in some cases, be passed on to people.

Keeping up to date with flea, tick, and worm treatments is one of the easiest ways to help your pet stay healthy and comfortable all year round.

Not sure if your pet is due their parasite treatment?

Give our friendly team at The Natural Vet a call on 0141 370 0282 we're happy to help you choose the right protection for your pet.

Let's talk Poppy's Picnic!🐾❤️

This gorgeous girl Priya came into our shop recently to pick up her favourite food, Poppy's Picnic!

Priya is the sweetest little girl and sat so well whilst we snapped pics of her adorable face.

We are so glad that she is doing so well on raw food and looks forward to mealtimes because of it.

Looking for a new food option for your dog? Poppy's Picnic is a complete and balanced meal, meaning it's formulated to provide all the essential nutrients your dog needs as a part of their daily diet.🥦🥩

One of the things that makes it different is that it is completely boneless! This means it can be cooked, giving you the flexibility to serve it gently cooked instead of raw.

If you're thinking about switching your dog to a fresh or raw food diet, pop in and chat to us - we're happy to help you find an option that suits their individual needs.

You can also shop our poppy's picnic range online here https://thenaturalvetshop.co.uk/products/poppypicnic-boarmeatballs?_pos=2&_sid=1cd10ac27&_ss=r
