Flies are still out in force and causing annoyance! 🪰❌

At this time of year, Nettex’s Hannah Waugh likes to use Summer Fly Cream on her Hanoverian mare, Riva to “stop the worst of the beasties.”

eCalm has helped Riva to deal with the stress of travel and competition 🐎

When owner, Hannah Waugh brought her home for the first time, she travelled well but loose droppings suggested she was a little stressed. Once she was at home and going out to competitions, it began to happen more frequently, with Riva also loosing focus in lessons and during competitions

“It was as if she was a little anxious - what I imagined our own nerves would be like at a show,” Hannah says. It was then that she turned to eCalm.

Hannah explains: “Having tried multiple calmers none of which really hit the right spot in terms of taking the nervous edge off but not affecting her performance. Someone recommended eCalm to me and I’ve never looked back. It really settled down her nervous tummy and helped her focus on the job at hand. 🧽If you’re looking to conserve water supplies, opting for a no-rinse wash is a quick and simple way to cool and clean your horse with less water

Simply dilute in a bucket of water, apply with a sponge and sweat scrape off. Leave to dry naturally to restore coat condition.

That amazing feeling when all that schooling pays off and horse and rider just click! Here’s Nettex’s equine specialist, Serena Kidd putting Buzz through his paces and getting back into the swing of things.

He’s been out of the show ring for a few years following surgery, but Serena is keen to get him out and competing again this month. The fact he’s not spooking at the judge’s box is a big improvement! The plan is to do unaffiliated dressage 🐴
