Bridget has been a familiar face at Friars Moor for the past 20 years and many of our clients will know her best from her time heading up the Shaftesbury branch before joining the large animal team in 2023. Bridget is currently responsible for keeping us all on the straight and narrow when it comes to health and safety compliance as well as overseeing the ongoing maintenance and upkeep at our West Stour site.

We'd like to thank Bridget (and Alice, her faithful four legged sidekick šŸ¶) for all of her hard work and commitment to FMLH.

Our opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday is as follows:
- West Stour open 8:30amā€“12pm

Out-of-hours service will be open as usual.

Closworth, Blandford, Sturminster Newton and Shaftesbury branches will be closed on Monday.

Weā€™re running another Milksure Practical Course on Thursday, 1st October, 2026.

MilkSure training improves the professionalism around medicine use on dairy farms and supports higher standards across the industry. The programme focuses on preventing medicine residues in milk and plays an important role in reducing antibiotic resistance.

Training in the use of medicine is compulsory for all dairy farmers as of the Red Tractor updates in October 2019. This session provides clear, practical guidance to help you meet those requirements and strengthen on-farm protocols.

The training session is suited for all dairy farmers.

Thursday 1st October, 2026
11.30am - 1:30pm
