Good news, Medway Council have finally given approval for a bench to be installed (lower half of the lines near the wooded area). Jakes daughter Amy and auntie are choosing a bench. I will keep everyone posted as to the exact location and when it will be installed. Such fantastic news.

Hey guys, sorry its been so quiet on here. Just a quick update about Jakes Dogs and where we're at regarding the bench.

Finn is still seeking a rescue space but is quite content with his foster parents.

Eddie was rehomed to a lady who has a female Mallinous. They look almost identical. He's got an enormous amount of land to run about on and a friend to romp with.

Mollie went to a Farm in Scotland, thats as much as i know.

With regards to the memorial bench both Amy (Jakes daughter) and myself are emailing the council. The latest correspondence mentioned that as it is a heritage park and war memorial did Jake serve in the forces. The answer is no. I have emailed back stating we would like a simple bench with plaque near the entrance to the wooded area halfway down the lines, this is where Jake always walked his dogs. I've forwarded photos to hopefully help them make a decision.

The gofund.me funds are sitting in the account.

I'm sorry its seems to be taking an enormous amount of time for the council to make a decision. We simply want a bench where you can visit, sit and reflect or just remember Jake.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of Jake Clarke on Saturday, March 14th.
​Many of you knew Jake through his business, 'All About Your Dog,' or would have seen him out on the Lines doing what he loved most—walking his dogs. He was a familiar, friendly face in our community, and his passion for animals was evident to everyone who met him.
​We want to reassure everyone that his beloved dogs are currently in a safe place in foster care. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of Jake’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Jake. You will be missed."
