Of course, we've never run ROAR with awards or recognition in mind - the real joy is in the getting to know our regular customers beyond simply their weekly shop, those who remember way back to the garage, and also the new faces we get to meet each day and the difference we see in the dogs (and cats, ferrets and raptors) who benefit from transitioning and access to a huge variety of species appropriate, unprocessed food.

But that's not so say we're not incredibly grateful for the nomination and particularly the recognition of our small but mighty team who genuinely care about doing the best by our customers, both furry and human.

We are utterly heartbroken to have said goodbye to our third and final member of the gang.

Ripley, our little bombshell, far too clever for her own good but with a heart filled with love. Champion snorer and owner of the longest lolliest tongue around. We have twelve incredible years of memories to cherish forever, and now our gang is reunited 🌈

There will be time later to take pride in the legacy you leave behind, along with Ru and Oz. But for now we're just struggling with the devastating sadness of coming home to a house without dogs for the first time in fourteen years.

If love could have kept you alive, you would have lived forever...

If you've shopped in store at ROAR in the last year, or ordered for delivery, you will know Georgia, and on Good Friday she is walking a mammoth 26 miles around Kielder to raise money for a wonderful charity. Of course, Georgia is never anywhere without a minimum of 3 dogs, so her lovely pack will be by her side lending a helping paw too!
