Hound Hikers Hound Hikers is a Gateshead based Pet Services company that specialises in dog walking in and around Gateshead.

We love walking dogs of all shapes and sizes and have experience of walking a wide range of breeds, from Jack Russells to Staffordshire Bull Terriers and everything inbetween. You can rest assured that your pets will be looked after as though they were our own while in our care. We provide companionship, exercise, socialisation with other dogs and fun for your pet. We will always leave your pet we

ll settled before departing after a walk. Your pet will be left as you instructed us to leave them (i.e in the kitchen or in crate etc). Feeding is also no problem should you require us to do so. A free initial visit comes as standard so we can go over the 'pre walk assesment' to get some more information on you and your pets' needs. We offer straightforward terms of service and we are covered by specialised pet service provider insurance. As well as dog walking we offer a visiting service for other pets, such as cats, for feeding or anything else you may require.

***Just a little note that I’m not currently operating***

I may return to dog walking at some point in the future but since June/July 2021 I’ve had to stop due to various injuries and problems.

Thanks to all customers and followers of Hound Hikers 🙂

I now run Wooden Spoon Crafts with my wife (who is a full time teacher). This is our handmade, personalised card business that has been in operation since 2016 and has really taken off over the last couple of years.
