Ferrets have NO boundaries!! 🤣

I received a package of yarn for a new project and I put it on our bed to be opened later. The boys decided they had to check it. It was within a half hour of putting it on the bed to come back as I wanted to show my husband the colours to find it open. 🤣🤣 I swear they are funny and menaces all at the same time

So this lovely lad or gal came in last night by a member of the public who found it in their yard not able to fly. I haven't found any obvious injuries and it's alert and able to perch. He has eaten and drank, so I'm just feeding it up and seeing if a few days of rest will help and I can release.

The hedgehog had been seen by my vets and is rather healthy. I'm to get him to a good weight before I release him. Luckily we know where he was found so he can be released in the same place. Hogs have an internal mapping system and will struggle if not returned to the same place. He's eating and drinking loads so it won't take long to get him up to a good weight.
