On Friday Kims K9 lost their Matriarch.
MAYA MOO , NANNY
Maya came from Crete after being thrown out of the back of a pick up in the mountains.she was found luckily with broken hips and cared for by Cretian Animal Rescue then fostered by my dad. She met me at the airport on a family visit and 4 weeks later she was here in her forever home. Meeting her brother Storm for the 1st time was magical, they were inseparable from that moment on. Bridesmaid at our wedding, beauty of the ball. Always smiling and loving every human she met.
Maya was there at the beginning of Kims K9 and kept all the pups large & small in check. All dogs had to be vetted by Maya, if she accepted them.. then they were allowed back. She was her daddy's dog , letting him do anything, total trust.
Friday Maya decided she'd had enough and collected her wings 🪽. Youll never be forgotten baby girl.

Another hot week last week. Lots of water breaks.
We also had an intro session for lil Murphy who at 6 months isnt so little. He's as big as Hudson , already.

What's the in phrase... "rehydration break" had many the last week. Finally it was too dangerous to do walks... just hope it breaks very soon.
