Teddy and his extra teeth! 🦷

9 month old Teddy came into us to have some of his baby teeth removed that would not budge! In the end, he had 9 teeth extracted that should not be there any more 😮

Have a look at the x-rays we took of his mouth and see if you can spot the extra baby teeth hiding in there!

🎆 The 5th of November is coming round fast so we want to be there, for you and your pet, at what can be a very scary time!

If you have previously experienced the fearful behaviours from your pet during fireworks, such as hiding, escaping, pacing and panting, here are some tips to try and help:

▪️setting up a hide for the to go to if feeling scared. Lots of blankets and toys, well covered and sheltered from as much noise as possible

▪️ensuring they are back inside before the fireworks are expected to start. So taking dogs on walks whilst still light outside or shutting the cat flap earlier than usual

▪️putting on some background sound and closing curtains to soften the bangs and flashes

▪️remaining calm yourself, allowing them to express the natural behaviours and to seek reassurance if needed

If this has not worked previously and you want any further advice, please book an appointment with one of our vets!
