🍂 Autumn opening hours start today! 🍂

It might still feel more like summer than autumn out there, but after those heatwaves, the slightly cooler temperatures are very welcome — and we’re sure the dogs are enjoying them too! 🐾
We’ve also reinstated our 48-hour reschedule period.

The grass is slowly starting to green up again 🌱 and I’ll be around the Meadows at various points this week, nurturing it back to life after a long, hot summer — so you may see me while you’re out enjoying your runs!

Here’s to cooler days, happy dogs and plenty of space to run, sniff and explore. 💚

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

Lots of cigarette ends have been found in both meadows today.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere at Wild & Free Dog Meadows, as stated in the Terms & Conditions.

This is particularly important right now, in light of the recent wildfires across the forest and Uk. The grass is extremely dry and tinder-like, and a discarded cigarette could potentially start a serious fire.

Cigarette ends are also toxic to dogs if ingested.

If you see anyone smoking anywhere on site, please let me know immediately.

Please help me keep the meadows safe for everyone and their dogs. ❤️🐾

Behind the scenes of social media photos… 😂🙈

My old dogs (Kodi and my other huskies) were always very photogenic and happy to pose…

Mouse however… well… this is the best I’ve got. 😂

Every time I’m at the meadows I think “I must remember to take some lovely photos for social media”… then I’m busy mowing, fixing things, chatting to customers or chasing after Mouse and completely forget. 🤦‍♀️

So if you’ve got a favourite photo of your dog enjoying Wild & Free and you’re happy for me to use it in future posts, I’d love to see it! 🐾🌼
