We said our farewells to our beautiful boy Jedi today, he was rescued from Romania as a baby, moved in with us at 6 months with his kennel sister Calypso, and lived to a ripe old age of 16 1/2 years. We were lucky to have had him in our lives and will miss him with all our hearts. Love you Jedi xx

We urgently need a passionate and dedicated volunteer to be Head of Fundraising at Bella’s Half Way Home. We’re struggling with time, funds, and space, so having someone mainly responsible for fundraising would really help us keep going strong.

Skills needed include:
- Experience or enthusiasm for fundraising and organising events
- Good communication and networking abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to come up with new fundraising ideas like being independent enough to organise and hold cake stands ect.

We are also loooking for is a Head Volunteer to help organise and coordinate our amazing animals needs. This role is vital to give the founders a few hours’ break and keep everything running smoothly.

Skills needed: strong organisational abilities, excellent communication and people skills, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude along with experience with farm animals needs and care.

You will need to be able to dedicate 1 morning and evening a week solely for the animals, understandably days off can be organised with prior notice considering you will have the roll of head volunteer.

With these roles there will be opportunities to join the committee if this is something of interest too!
