Life off the lead The field is set in Fernhurst and is totally enclosed with 6.6 foot deer fencing. Exclusive use of the field for a 50 minute or 25 minute session.

🚨 PLEASE DON’T LET YOUR DOGS STRIP THE BARK FROM THE LOGS 🚨

Someone is allowing their dog(s) to rip large amounts of bark from the logs in the scurry.

The logs are part of the field equipment and are there for everyone to enjoy. Repeatedly ripping the bark off damages them and will eventually mean they need replacing.

Please stop them if they start doing this. The logs are part of the field equipment and are being damaged.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT DIGGING ⚠️

Please do not allow your dogs to dig anywhere in the field other than in the sandpit.

We are continuing to find large holes that have been dug and left behind. These can be a serious trip and injury hazard for both dogs and clients, and digging outside the sandpit is against our Terms & Conditions.

We provide a bucket of wood chip and a spade so that if your dog does manage to dig a hole before you can stop them, it can be backfilled properly before you leave. Do report any large holes that you find, as this will help us identify when they are occurring during the day.

Please keep an eye on your dogs and stop them from digging as soon as they start. The sandpit is there specifically for dogs who love to dig, so please encourage them to use that instead. 🐾

If this continues, I will have to consider refusing future bookings from repeat offenders. I really don’t want to do that, but I do have a responsibility to keep the field safe for everyone.

Acuity which is our booking system was shut for scheduled maintenance between 11am - 12pm today. Apologies if you tried to make a booking in that time. It is now back up and running 😊

🔥 NO SMOKING – PLEASE! 🚭

Just a quick reminder that smoking is not permitted anywhere at Life Off the Lead, including the field and car park.

With the recent dry weather, the grass and surrounding vegetation are extremely dry and the fire risk is high.

Please help us keep the field, dogs and surrounding land safe. 🐾🔥

A little reassurance 💜🐾

We’ve had a few people ask about the For Rent/Sale signs currently up at The Kings Arms, so we just wanted to reassure everyone that they do not involve Life Off The Lead or our field.

Life Off The Lead is staying exactly where it is and we are continuing to operate as usual. 🌿🐾

Your bookings are unaffected and the field remains open as normal.

So please don’t panic when you spot the signs — we’re not going anywhere! 💜
