Lovely Mr B was April’s, Bridget’s legacy voucher receiver ✨

Mr B has been coming to us since he was a puppy, and has always been the cheekiest boy. He does love a fuss and a cuddle on the grooming table, but the only true way to his heart is if you have a handful of treats 🤭🐾

What a busy weekend!

Georgia travelled all the way to Mansfield for a doggy meet up with friends at a doggy soft play!! How cool is that!

Tabitha travelled all the way to Warwick for a day of education at the fantastic

And on top of that Georgia also recieved a message to say she has been nominated for a "High Achievement Award" in the "Most Improved Groomer" category.
The awards have been set up by the inspirational to recognise high achievers in the grooming industry. As always I (Tabitha) am incredibly proud of Georgia 👏👏 congratulations 🎉 ✨️

☀️🐾 HEATSTROKE IN DOGS 🐾☀️

In the UK, temperatures can be dangerous for dogs, especially brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, puppies, senior and overweight dogs.

⚠️ Signs to watch for:

• Excessive panting or drooling
• Weakness or confusion
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Red gums or tongue

Simple ways to help keep your dog cool:

🐕‍🦺 Walk early morning or later evening
🚗 Never leave dogs in cars
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🧊 Use Cooling products such as pools, mats or bandanas, frozen treats, and provide plenty of shade and cool resting areas
✂️ Regular grooming helps to remove excess coat and helps to improve airflow

🚨 If you suspect heatstroke, move your dog somewhere cool, offer cool water, dampen with cool (not ice-cold) water, contact your vet immediately.

NEVER cover pets with a towel, this will only make them hotter as heat cannot escape!

❄️ Our salon is fully air conditioned to keep your dogs cool and comfortable during their groom. We also have plenty of doggy ice creams and frozen treats to help keep them cool and enriched throughout the day

‼️Missing one walk won’t hurt your dog, but walking them in unsafe heat could

As it gets warmer and those coats are getting thick, heavy and shedding we are exceptionally busy.

We strongly recommend booking 1-2 appointments in advance to secure your preferred day and time and to avoid delays

May - Limited appointments available AFTER the 19th

June - Limited appointments available before the w/c 22nd

Reminder - Starting this week, we will only be open one Saturday a month. Spaces are VERY limited.

We are in the transition stage of closing on Fridays and opening Thursdays. In amongst the bank holidays this means our usual opening hours are slightly varied.

As of 12th June we will no longer be open Fridays.
