🐾 PLEASE SHARE 🐾

Over the last two weeks, we have sadly had two deceased cats brought in to Swale Barn Vets.

Cat 1: Grey and white
Cat 2: Black with a white spot on his left cheek

Unfortunately, neither cat was microchipped, and both were unneutered males.

We would really like to find their owners, so they can be informed and given some answers during what we know may be a very difficult time. ❤️

If you believe either of these cats may be yours, or you recognise them, please contact Swale Barn Vets.

Please share this post to help us reach their owners. 🐾❤️

🐾🚨 WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IN A DOGGY EMERGENCY? 🚨🐾

As vets, we see first-hand how quickly an accident can turn into an emergency. Knowing what to do in those crucial first few minutes could make all the difference. ❤️

We’re delighted to support our friends and partners at Macknade, who are running a fantastic Dog First Aid Course 🐶🩹

The practical, hands-on course covers:

🐕 CPR & resuscitation
🩸 Bleeding & wounds
🔥 Heatstroke
😮‍💨 Choking
⚡ Seizures
🩹 Practical bandaging
🌊 Near drowning
🐾 Dog-fight injuries
🚨 Recognising shock & serious emergencies

📅 Sunday 4th October
⏰ 10:30am – 2:45pm
📍 Macknade Apple Loft Event Room
💷 £50 per person #

You’ll leave with practical knowledge, a first aid manual and certificate of attendance. The 4-hour practical and interactive course is led by Kerry Stubbs RVN CertVNECC MBVNA, a Registered Veterinary Nurse specialising in Emergency & Critical Care.

❤️ Every dog owner hopes they’ll never need to use first aid. But wouldn’t you rather know what to do if you did?

Got a new puppy? 🐶✨

The early months are so important for helping your puppy grow into a happy, confident dog. One of the best things you can do for them is socialisation - giving them the chance to meet other puppies, explore new experiences, and learn good manners.

Our Puppy Socialisation Classes are the perfect place for your little one to start! 🐾 They’ll make new friends, build confidence, and learn the foundations for great behaviour in a fun, friendly setting.

Classes are run by Lesley, our certified and approved dog trainer, and are held in a clean, safe environment with small class sizes so every puppy gets the attention they need. 🐕

Give your puppy the best start and help them grow into a friendly, well-adjusted companion. 🤍
