It all started in 2018 with my degree and here I am 8 years later with my own little salon and the loveliest clients!

I’ve been nominated for an award!! Well, not just one award but three! 🤭😳 I was nominated for Handling and Welfare Champion, Client Experience, & Most Improved Groomer!

To be nominated by others within the industry honestly means so much to me. Anyone who knows me knows I’m always talking about groomers “I know”, who are usually just people I’ve followed online or become Facebook friends with! 😂 So I think I sometimes forget that people may know who I am too! 😅

Being recognised in this industry is such a huge honour, especially when I’m alongside so many incredibly talented groomers. I actually made it one of my goals for 2026 to be nominated for an award, so receiving this news has quite literally made my year already 🥰

🐾🤍 Let’s talk deshedding! 🤍🐾

As we head into warmer weather, deshedding becomes especially important for your pet’s comfort and coat health.

It’s important to remember that it isn’t the length of your pets hair that is making them overheat. It’s actually the presence of dead hair compaction, undercoat build up and/or matting. When the coat isn’t properly maintained, it can trap heat and reduce airflow to the skin. Regular deshedding helps keep the coat healthy and supports natural temperature regulation.

Many grooming salons offer deshedding as an add-on service, but at Guardian Angell Pet Grooming, it’s included as part of every groom. For shedding breeds, proper deshedding isn’t optional, it is an essential part of maintaining their coat health!

Mr Maverick comes in on a regular basis to help maintain his coat, just look at all that coat we managed to get out just through brushing!

Two months into being open and I realised I never properly introduced myself!

Hi! I’m Taylor, the person behind Guardian Angell Pet Grooming 🤩

I started this business after four years of grooming for other people. Going self employed and opening my own salon gave me the opportunity to build a grooming salon around my own values. I wanted to create a a calm, caring environment where every dog gets the time, patience and individual care they deserve.

I’m an award winning dog groomer with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare so your pets will be in the best possible hands!

Watching Guardian Angell grow over the last two months has honestly meant the world to me, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their dogs, recommended me, or supported my small business so far.

I can’t wait to continue growing and meeting more of your lovely pets!
