Happy National Pet Day 🐾

Every day I’m reminded just how special our animals are — the comfort they bring, the routines they create, and the unconditional love they give without asking for anything in return.

As a vet nurse and cat sitter, I’m lucky enough to care for so many incredible pets, each with their own personalities, quirks, and little habits that make them completely unique. From the confident explorers to the shy cuddle-seekers, every one of them leaves a paw print on my heart.

Today is a perfect excuse to give your pets a little extra love — whether that’s an extra treat, a longer walk, or just some quiet time together.

✨ Today we’re celebrating the magic of ginger cats! ✨
They’re more than just their gorgeous coats—these fiery felines have some pretty special traits:

🐾 Mostly Boys: Around 80% of ginger cats are male, which makes spotting a ginger girl extra rare and extra special.
🐾 Big Personalities: Confident, cuddly, a little mischievous—gingers love to be the centre of attention (and they’re really good at it).
🐾 The Famous “M”: Many ginger tabbies wear a distinct “M” on their forehead. Legend says it was a mark left by the Prophet Muhammad himself.
