Our Maine C**n journey started in November 2020, when our beloved Moggie Panda Passed away, we weren’t looking for anything straightaway and were looking into the future but have always wanted a larger breed to add to our ever-growing animal family but came across Dominika’s Baby Picture and we were Hooked. After Hours and Hours of research into breeding, we decided it was something we as a family

would love to do. �

We were quickly introduced St Carlino de Sol’s Babies and ended up importing across the water and after what seemed a long wait had our two queens arrive in February 2021. ��

I knew from a young age at some point in my life I would be breeding cats, since I was the age of 3 I have always had a cat in my life, then I met Matt he is a dog person so convincing him to let me have a cat took a while 6 years to be precise, after bringing a dog into our family, I soon persuading him that two kittens wouldn’t be as much work and that was that the kittens (Rusty and Panda) and puppy (Zac) got on like a house on fire, unfortunately we lost Zac at a young age and we had a little hole left for someone else and were blessed with being able to adopt 2 Bengal 8 month old kittens brothers (Goldie and Leo), I say blessed they are now 7 years old and they do not like humans 1 little bit but love Rusty and that’s all they need. Now our Name, as you can see, we have registered with Fife with the Prefix Rusty Paws, this was because although he is a neutered Moggie Rusty will always be the King of the House. All our breeding Maine C**n's are imported from Hungary with fantastic lineage, so we are excited to see what beautiful babies they produce and cant wait for the tiny pitter patter of paws. Our aim is to provide you with the best and healthiest Babies, so our queens and studs are fully health tested from HCM, SMA, PKDef, FIV/FeLV & blood types, this information will be provided to all new kitten parents. We raise our cats in our home with multiple birds, three neutered cats, children and a family who love cats as much as me. We can ensure you your babies will come with all the love and kisses they can take put up with. We will be adding too are brood in 2022 with our own studs will keep you all informed ��

Another Crazy cat show weekend with friends Felis Britannica meownladorian show 🥰😻
Such a busy day for us, 1st of all to be allowed to steward for was an amazing 2nd day of stewarding for the dark side thank you for trusting me 🥰🥰
1st up the light side with Martti Peltonen.
Rochelle Gained her 3rd CACJ subject to confirmation will now be a junior champion, she went on to go against a beautiful tortie ticked kitten owned by aurac**nz for BIV the little baby got it congratulations again Debra and Matt 🥰

Rochelle then went up against 2 Siberians, a Norwegian forest cat for NOMINATION to BIS and managed to get up on the judging panel.
She then went on to get BIS female Junior, BIS overall Junior, BIS overall kitten, after a little wait, she came back on to the panel, against a Neva and Siberian for BIC, with 3 votes to 1 she was in the BIC cage and came overall 3rd BOB with a beautiful neuter bengal taking over all best 😽🥳

Next up the Darkside with Stephane Henry.
She gained another CACJ certificate, went up against the same beautiful baby kitten, but this time luck was In our favour and Rochelle secured the BIV Ribbon 🥳🥳
She then went up against 1 Norwegian and 1 Siberian for NOMINATION, after a long difficult decision
Rochelle got it against the beautiful black smoke Siberian 🥳

She then went on to get BIS female Junior, BIS overall Junior, BIS overall kitten, after a little wait, she came back on to the panel, against a Neva and Norwegian for BIC with split vote between her and the neuter Norwegian Oliver, Stephane was victorious and with a piece of paper won the vote and Rochelle was in the BIC pen 🥳🥳
She became 4th overall best, with Reggie’s bestie beautiful white Persian female taking the overall BOB place 🥰🥰

Thank you everyone for your support and all the steward for loving my girl on the panel, and of course to all the judges thinking highly of her.

🐾 Meet Ollie – 5 years old in June🐾

Ollie is a gentle, quiet boy with a soft soul and the most beautiful fluffy coat. He may be a little reserved at first, but he does enjoy attention and absolutely loves to play—especially with balls and teaser toys. Once he feels safe, his sweet nature really shines through.

He also has an adorable quirky habit… he loves to sleep in the bath! We think he just enjoys the cool, cosy space 😻

Ollie has unfortunately been getting bullied by other cats in the home, which has knocked his confidence. Because of this, we feel he would be happiest either as an only cat or with calm, older companions. He does get along well with an older girl, so we know he can build lovely bonds in the right environment.

He truly deserves a peaceful, loving home where he can relax and be cherished.

🩺 Health note:
Ollie previously developed a haematoma in his ear from head shaking. It was treated surgically, but his ear healed folded—this is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect him at all.

😻 Ice Man has finally gone off to his new home last Thursday 😻
He has grown into a beautiful strong independent boy, he has the most wonderful new family, which wasn’t the family we had thought we would see again for a very long time, due to a very sad loss for both the Rustypaws Family and Ice Mans new family.
We hope Ice Man brings you joy and craziness and fills the hole left by the loss of Merlin.
We can’t wait to see all of Ice’s new adventures with his new brother Jasper, how he develops and grows and waiting to see if his new name sticks 🥰🥰

We went to the show this weekend at Leamington spa and exceeded all expectations 🤩

1st up our cheeky boy Dorito

Saturday Gained his 5th CACS Certificate and nominated BIS
Sunday Gained his 6th CACS Certificate and beat by the lovely Ginner owned by Bev Collins for nomination 🥰

Then our new beautiful Princess moonlightc**n_maine_c**n Rochelle came out for her 1st ever fife show.

Saturday she went against RustyPaws Hera for her certificate and got her 1st CACJ
She was also nominated for BIS
She then went on and achieved BEST IN SHOW FEMALE JUNIOR, Overall Junior, Overall kitten 🤩 Amazing 1st day!!

Sunday she had no competition for her certificate and was awarded very happily her 2nd CACJ
She was nominated for BIS over a beautiful Norwegian owned by Rachel Gaskell.
She then went on and achieved BEST IN SHOW FEMALE JUNIOR, Overall Junior, Overall Kitten 😻
Not only that she WON BEST IN CATEGORY 2 over a beautiful Adult male Norwegian owned by Sharon Armstrong Taylor and A even more beautiful Tortie and white Maine c**n neuter owned by Anne Jones 🤯🤯 🤩🤩 We still can’t quite believe it 😻😻
She also achieved 3 best coat out of a group of 14 cats in a fun side class so over all she had an amazing weekend 🥰
I want to say a huge thank you to iamacatshowsteward and chapperzz85 for looking after Rochelle at Bis, for looking after Dorito and Ethan and Feebs for filling in the he needed 😻😻 your all fabulous 😻😻

This handsome little gentleman is a credit to Rusty Paws 🐾✨

A stunning red silver shaded boy, and a very special one too — a singleton baby who’s been lovingly raised alongside his big sisters and cousins. Thanks to that, he’s grown into a confident, independent and incredibly loving little soul 💛

He enjoys his cuddles, but don’t be fooled by that innocent face… he lives for a good rough-and-tumble play session with the big cats 😼
Because of that, he would absolutely thrive in a home with a furry big brother or sister to continue all the wrestling, chasing and fun 🐈‍⬛🐈

Strong, sweet, and full of personality — the kind of kitten who quietly steals your heart and then never gives it back ✨🐾
