💉🐾 Second vaccine day for Pebbles!

Gorgeous little Pebles the Pomeranian joined us for her second vaccination 🥹

She was an absolute superstar for her appointment and is now another step closer to being able to head out and explore the big wide world. 🌿🐾

Well done, Pebbles! We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures. 💕

🐾 Puppy Party Pups! 🐾

Meet our latest little puppy party crew: Thelia, Kiki, Taggie, Luigi & Minnie 🥹🐶

They’re officially halfway through their course and have been busy practising two very important puppy skills: playing nicely with their new friends and learning how to settle calmly in company 💛

Meanwhile, the humans get the chance to chat all things puppy, from training and behaviour to keeping them healthy! 🐾

We’ve loved watching their confidence grow already and can’t wait to see them next week! ✨

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

Today is all about celebrating the dogs who make our lives that little bit brighter.

We feel incredibly lucky to care for so many wonderful dogs and get to know all of their different personalities along the way.

No cone of shame here… it’s a cone of healing! 💕🐾

Lovely Nala was in to see us recently with a sore hot spot on her tail. She’s now on the mend, with her very fetching pink cone helping to stop any licking and give the area a chance to heal. 🌸

We think pink is definitely her colour! 💗

Hot spots can become sore very quickly, so if you notice your pet persistently licking, chewing or scratching an area, it’s always worth getting it checked.

Our bravery award goes to Osa today!
Her owners spotted she had a sore lump under her armpit, when brought in the see Dr Karen, we had our suspicions that a grass seed might be at work.
Osa is only 7 months old but she took everything in her stride, she received a sedation so that we could fully explore the area and a grass seed was found! Now that this is removed she should make a full recovery.

We have now removed 70 grass seeds this season! It is always so important to check your pets, especially after walks in long grass. If you notice any sore areas on the skin, eyes or ears give us a call.

Well done Osa, we hope you make a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

Meet Murphy & Penny 🐱🐱💕

These two VERY cute little faces were in with us today to be spayed and were absolute little stars! ⭐️

Neutering is an important part of keeping our cats happy and healthy. As well as preventing unwanted litters, it can also help to:

🐾 Reduce roaming and the risk of road traffic accidents
🐾 Prevent uterine infections
🐾 Reduce the risk of certain cancers
🐾 Reduce hormone-driven behaviours

And with cats able to become pregnant from as young as around 4 months old, it’s worth having the conversation sooner than you might think!

Little Ottie was in today for her second puppy vaccination and was an absolute superstar! 🐾💉

She got plenty of tasty treats from Abby… safe to say she approved! 🦴🤍

Second vaccinations are an exciting milestone, helping to protect your puppy as they get ready to explore the big wide world. 🌍🐶
