Welcoming another doggo to the club at FEF!

This was Wilbert’s very first walk with us, and what a superstar he was! Ciara headed to Jubilee Park for an adventure, where he practised his recall skills and absolutely smashed it. 🌟

After gaining a little confidence, Wilbert enjoyed some off lead fun with a few new furry friends and had the best time running around and playing. To finish the walk, Ciara scattered some treats for him to sniff out on the way back, his little own sniffari, which he loved!

The tennis ball didn’t quite win them over, but tasty treats sprinkled in my long grass for mental stim certainly did! 🥩

Both pups were very interested in making new doggy friends along the way, and Tiffin was in her element playing mermaids in the sea🧜🏼‍♀️🌊

Too hot to trot yesterday so Rolo had a home visit instead 🌞🍓

Anyone with a spaniel knows they’ve got endless energy 😂 so we kept him busy for the full hour with enrichment, splash pad zoomies, and lots of mental stimulation games… although I’m pretty sure he still thought that was just his warm up, spaniels😆🥵

Early morning walks, enriching home visits designed around mental stimulation and calm engagement, followed by relaxed evening strolls as the temperature settles.

A slower, more thoughtful routine, tailored to keep our FEF pups comfortable, content, and fulfilled throughout the heatwave 💛

With this heat coming up this week, don’t forget about all the little wild visitors around us too 🫶

Foxes, birds, badgers, cats, hedgehogs and all the other nature critters still need somewhere to drink, especially when a lot of puddles, streams and little water spots start drying up in the heat.

If you can, pop a little bowl or container of fresh water outside and just top it up each day. Such a small thing but it can make a massive difference for them right now.

We know we’re a dog walking company 😅 but we care about all animals over here, not just the ones on leads 🤍
