Dear FEF diary🍂

A little bit of October sunshine FINALLY made an appearance today, so out came the mum sunglasses!🫣😂

Thought I’d spoil Bob and Lola with a pup cup, so we found ourselves a little spot in the sun and watched the world go by.

Rosy cheeks happy pups and a lovely little autumn afternoon. More days like this please!

A BIG FEF welcome to the gorgeous Bella! 🥹

Meet Bella, one of our newest of members and one BIG friendly giant! This gorgeous GSD has a heart of gold and an even bigger obsession with water. If Bella’s gone missing on a walk, you’ll probably find her having a dip in the nearest lake!🤣

She’s already been introduced to a few of our FEF members, who’ve all made her feel right at home!

Yesterday, Bella joined Hayden and fellow GSD Cario for an adventure, and it’s safe to say they were the BESTEST of friends! I think Bella has finally met her match!😆

And here, in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, we observe a rather extraordinary creature… the rare Pumpkin Headed Nemo

Unlike most species, this particular specimen thrives on human attention, stopping frequently to receive admiration from passing strangers.

Sunday, he ventured to Sunnyfields Farm, where he pays his respects to the great Sir David Attenborough… a man who would undoubtedly be fascinated by such a remarkable creature😂

PET OF THE WEEK…

SCOUT! 🏆

This week’s superstar deserves some extra recognition because we’ve had a HUGE breakthrough, and we couldn’t be prouder of her!

Scout has been enjoying solo walks with us for quite some time, while we’ve been working on her reactivity towards other dogs, particularly her on lead manners.

Recently, we felt Scout was ready to take the next step and begin introducing her to carefully tailored social walks. And what a journey it’s been already!

Over the past two weeks, Chloe has been joining Rebecca to offer an extra pair of hands, support and guidance as they gradually introduced Scout to some fur ever friends. Our priority has always been making sure Scout feels safe, comfortable and confident, while ensuring the other dogs are equally happy.

And we’ve had a breakthrough!! 🥹

Her first introduction was understandably a little overwhelming, but with patience, teamwork and a few adjustments to how we approached things, Scout has absolutely blossomed!

From previously reacting to dogs on the lead, to now happily walking alongside them without a reaction. Yesterday, she was proudly trotting alongside Sav and Woody as though she’d been part of their little friendship group forever!

It might sound like a small achievement to some, but for a dog who has struggled, this is MASSIVE.

It’s still very early days, and we’ll continue taking everything at Scout’s pace, but seeing her confidence grow and watching her genuinely enjoy the company of other dogs has been so rewarding.

This is exactly why we love what we do. Sometimes it’s not just about walking dogs. It’s about understanding them, adapting to their individual needs and helping them achieve things that once seemed impossible.

Well done, Scout! And a massive well done to Rebecca for all her hard work and dedication. 🤍

Good morning! 

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend! 😃

I just wanted to pop on and say a HUGE thank you to our FEF community for all the support you’ve shown us!

If you’d told me a year and a half ago where we’d be today, I genuinely wouldn’t have believed you! 😂

I remember all the worries when starting out, wondering whether people would trust us, whether we’d get enough bookings and whether I could actually turn my little idea into something successful.

Fast forward to now, and we have an amazing little team, so many wonderful dogs to care for and, most importantly, many families who have stuck with us right from the very beginning!

It’s one thing for someone to book your services, but to have clients continue choosing us every single week for over a year and a half, with so most still with us today, honestly blows my mind.

I’m definitely my own biggest critic. I’m constantly wondering whether we’re doing enough, what we could improve and how we can make our services even better. From our small, carefully matched social walks or our 1:1 services, I’ve always wanted every dog to be treated as an individual, never just another booking!

We’ve had our fair share of challenges along the way, but the lovely feedback we’ve received recently, the reviews, recommendations and continued support really have reminded me how far we’ve come.

I’m SO proud of what we’ve built, and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you all.

Whether you’ve booked us, recommended us, shared a post or simply spoken kindly about our business, thank you. You have no idea how much it means to a small business like ours!

Birthday celebrations for Diesel! 🎂

A huge thank you to Eddie’s lovely owners for joining Mykela in celebrating Diesel’s birthday and spoiling him with some tasty mini treats!

The boys even celebrated in style with a pupcake each… although Diesel decided his wasn’t quite to his taste and promptly spat it back out! 😂

Luckily, Eddie was more than happy with his, and at least Diesel has some delicious treats to enjoy later tonight!

Happy birthday diesel! 🤣😍
