Happy Pride to our LGBT+ staff, clients, pets and community! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Fareham Creek stands by you always and we remain committed to supporting our Trans and non-binary friends who will be so concerned about their future right now.

It is brilliant to see that Fareham is celebrating it's first Pride celebrations during the month of June. For more information visit https://www.fareham.gov.uk/leisure/out_and_about_in_fareham/pride.aspx

This is so so important, as there remains as much need for Pride celebrations and visibility today as there was at the time of the first UK Pride marches over 50 years ago.

Happy Pride Everyone 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month (VNAM) and this year's theme is 'Compassion and Empathy'.

As part of the VNAM 2026 campaign, the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) has launched its ‘unsung heroes’ awards which help recognise Registered Veterinary Nurses and Student Veterinary Nurses who go above and beyond.

We are sure you will all agree that we are very fortunate to have such a wonderful nursing team here; they work extremely hard to provide the best care to your beloved companions while they are with us.

A huge thank you to Andy, Emma, Ben, Sophie and Faith for all their hard work and dedication.

You are welcome to nominate our nursing team or an individual by scanning the QR code below.

‼️ Important Information for pets travelling with EU Passports ‼️

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-eu-rules-for-pet-travel-for-gb-residents

Key updates include:

GB residents should no longer use EU pet passports to travel into the EU. EU pet passports may now only be issued to people whose main home is in the EU and should not be used by people who have holiday homes in the EU or visit seasonally. EU pet passports issued to GB residents before 22 April 2026 may no longer be valid documents for entry to the EU. This means GB residents – even if they already have an EU pet passport – may need a different document to take their pet to the EU. To guarantee smooth travel, owners resident in Great Britain should get an Animal Health Certificate for their dog, cat or ferret(s) if they’re travelling from Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) to an EU country.

If you have any questions please contact the practice.

The changes apply to non-commercial movements of dogs, cats and ferrets
