So what really goes on once you drop your dog to us?

No 2 days are ever the same, we get up to all sorts inside Fareham’s dog daycare but we have a few non negotiables

1. Inside and outside time
Everyday all the dogs get to spend time both inside the facility but also outside in our award winning yard

2. Games & Enrichment
We’ve got so many things up our sleeves to get the dogs stuck into, card board shredding, sniff games, treat puzzles, even a bubble and foam machine (dog friendly of course)

3. Nap time
Everyday we make sure that the dogs get a nap, to recharge, bring their arousal levels down and encourage them to take a break so they don’t get too overstimulated

Happy dogs aren’t made by daycares who sit back and watch from a distance, we see so many happy dogs everyday because we create an environment they thrive in

She’s become our stooge dog showing new daycare dogs the ropes and introducing them to the space

Top spots for napping (or just some down time)

All around daycare we have so many different areas and types of beds, blankets, sofas and crates for the dogs to chill

Some dogs don’t need or want or the fancy beds and are quite happy just chilling on the floor but for those who are familiar with a crate or prefer something fluffy, we have a load of different beds to accommodate for everyone

At the end of the day when we strip the damp, fur covered clothes off of us, you can’t help but think how lucky we are to get to do this for a job

Hi, I’m Amelia!

I’m the owner of Fareham’s Dog Daycare!

We’ve been running daycare for 6 years now (what the heck?) and I thought it was probably time to reintroduce myself for those who have never seen me before (loads more of you have been joining and following us lately)! 👋🏻

I have worked with dogs in a daycare setting for over 10 years!

Have volunteered with helping rehabilitate rescue dogs here in England and in India too; I also have a degree in companion animal behaviour so you know your pups are in the safest hands!

OBVIOUSLY... I LOVE DOGS but theres way more to me than that

🐸 I own a African clawed frog called Omelette who lives in the daycare staff room
🌱 I have been vegan for 7 years
🎡 I love festivals and live music especially with a cider in hand
🐌 My most recent animal purchase was African land snails

What we’ve created at Fareham’s Dog Daycare is a dream come true, my team is amazing and keep the dogs happy (and me sane), our dogs are the best and everyday is a different kind of fun with them
