Prep for a winter wreath course. All home grown. No plastic. No flying thousand of miles for foliage. 100% seasonal and fresh. How it used to be.

Before wreaths were fashionable, people would create wreaths from foliage they had, decorate with berries and cut fruit to represent hope for the next season of sunnier days and growth.

Fir and Christmas trees were introduced actually a lot later and now that’s all we know. Sometimes looking back into our history, can mean simpler, but that’s not always a bad thing. In my humble opionion, I think it’s rather beautiful.

How to use it?

I use this on everything! Dahlia beds for soil improving as it is a raised bed and needs organic matter for good flowers, which are thickly mulched here.

Over my roses, herb pots, fruit trees and everything else.
