Awesome !!!!!!

What an amazing delivery of Marine fish, corals and cleanup crew that was. We also had an amazing lot of freshwater tropicals including a large range of dwarf cichlids, killie fish and less commonly seen catfish.

We’ve met some great shop staff on the PFK shoptours and Dylan Mason is just one of them. I first met him at Maidenhead Aquatics in Truro, Cornwall, a few years ago.

I think everyone in the hobby should try lake tanganyika cichlids at some point
Not always the most colourful fish but full of character

Todays pic of my Lake Tanganyika biotape aquarium
The lake is the 2nd oldest 2nd longest and 2nd deepest in the world and contains around 250 spiecies of Cichlids
The aquascpe is seiryu stone , vallis and shells (for the shell dwellers )
The ph is 8.1 buffered with Tropic Marin rift lake mineral, and the arognite helps maintain the ph
It's filtered with a fluval 307 external
I carry out a weekly water change of 40%
The live stock consists of
4x Autolamprologus Compressiceps " Black widow"
4x Neolamprologus Brevis " Sun Spot "
4x Julidachromis Transcriptus "Gombe"

The Gold Heads have bred
And a pair of Brevis have formed
