A little bit of magic, a whole lot of mischief, and hearts absolutely FULL of love! 🥹🖤✨

October is all about celebrating our gorgeous black kitties, the little shadows who follow you everywhere, the cheeky paws that get up to mischief, and the snuggly purr machines who make a house feel like home. 🐾☕️

Sadly, black cats can sometimes be overlooked when looking for their forever homes, and we think that’s just pawsitively bonkers! 😿

These beautiful babies are just as loving, playful, silly and deserving of a happy ending as every other kitty. They don't bring bad luck… just muddy paw prints, midnight zoomies, and an awful lot of love! 😂🖤

So, this October, let’s give our little shadows the spotlight they deserve! 🌟

Sometimes, a cuppa, a friendly face and a safe space to talk can make all the difference. ☕💜

Join us at The Kit-Tea Café this Thursday, 4:30pm–6pm, with Ben Brady for our Grief Café.

Whether you’re navigating a recent loss or carrying grief from years ago, you’re welcome to come along, have a chat, share your feelings or simply sit with others who understand. There’s no pressure to talk , just a warm, supportive space where you don’t have to face it alone. 🫶

💚🐾 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY | 10TH OCTOBER 🐾💚

Today, we’re shining a light on something that matters just as much as physical health , our mental health. 💚

At The Kit-Tea Café & Rescue, we believe that nobody should have to face their struggles alone. Sometimes, life feels overwhelming, the world feels a little too heavy, and finding the words to explain how we feel can be difficult.

Sometimes, all we need is a safe space, a friendly face, a listening ear… and perhaps a purring cat curled up beside us. 🐱💚

Our little rescue family reminds us every day that everyone deserves kindness, patience, love and a place where they feel they belong. Just as our rescued cats need time, understanding and care to feel safe again, we all deserve that same compassion.

✨ You don't have to be okay all the time.
✨ You don't have to explain everything you're feeling.
✨ You are not a burden, and you are never alone.

Let's continue breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, checking in on one another, and creating a community where it's okay to say, "I'm not okay."

Whether you're struggling silently, supporting someone you love, or simply taking life one day at a time, please remember to be gentle with yourself. 💚
