This dainty little girl is Lisa, and you can see her here chilling with her brother Bart.

Lisa is a sweet but shy girl who is ready for rehoming to a quiet patient new owner.

She came to us 2 weeks ago from a large feral colony, and considering she was then about 9 weeks old, she is surprisingly socialised. She is, however, still nervous, although she appreciates a stroke and has a good old purr. She won't come to us for fuss as yet, but she does for her food.

She really needs a new home where she is given time to settle. She's not going to be rushed.

A home with young children and dogs would not suit her at all.

Lisa was been vet checked, wormed and flea treated and started her vacinnations. Her second vacinnation, microchipping, and neutering will be funded when the time comes.

No hissing, spitty or growling from this little chap now. He was a different cat after 2 days! Thankfully he understood quickly that he's landed on his feet (paws).

He's a bit of a messy eater hence the mucky face. It won't be long before he and his brother are washing themselves and each other properly.

They are still only 5-6 weeks old so won't be ready for rehoming for a few weeks yet. If you are interested in rehoming a kitten from us though, please complete one of our rehoming questionnaires and we'll try to match you with your perfect kitten.

This little kitten is one of 10 we've taken in over the last week. She is part of a large 20-30 cat colony that our new chairman, Neil, has been working his way through in terms of neutering. Unfortunately, we are having to release the adults again, but they are currently being fed and looked after.

This kitten and his siblings are amazingly scared, but we've already seen progress in just 2 days. We're still getting hissed and sworn but not with quite so much venom!!

We just wanted to show you such a contrast between two 5 week old siblings. Little Chester, the quiet one, came in last week and, although a bit scared at first, is really quite content now.
The newbie hissy spitty one (s*x to be ascertain once we are feeling brave!) came in yesterday.

They are clearly far from happy. We're hoping that in a few days, we can show you some process with this one.

It’s black cat 🐈‍⬛️🐈‍⬛️🐈‍⬛️ appreciation day so we wanted to celebrate these wonderful cats that are so often overlooked when it comes to rehoming.

Rescues across the country will struggle to rehome these cats but all us cat lovers know that a coat colour means nothing when it comes to being a wonderful pet.
What beats beautiful eyes, a panther looks and cute bibs and socks?🧦🧦🧦

They are the hardest coloured cats to get good photos of so we’d love to see your black (and black and white cats) posing for the camera. Here’s Max, one of our fosterer cats doing just that.

So folks it’s just 5 weeks. Yes I know just 5 weeks till the next (TFFC), The Forgotten Fabric Clearout. Oh the excitement along with the Sewing Bee starting this week.
