🐾 SANDY PAWS UPDATE & A FEW REMINDERS 🐾

Just a little reminder that Daycare, Walks & the Freedom Field are CLOSED this Thursday & Friday (3rd & 4th September).
Boarding is open as normal. 🐶

📱 KENNELBOOKER
Could everyone please take a minute to check that all of your details on the KennelBooker Pet Parent app are up to date — particularly emergency contacts, phone numbers and your dog’s information. It really helps us to have everything we need in one place should we ever need it.

🍂 BOARDING
We’re about to head into another silly season! 😂🐾
September & October boarding availability is now becoming very limited, so if you have dates you’re still hoping to book, please get in touch as soon as possible.

We do still have boarding availability from the end of October through to our Christmas closure in December, so there’s still time to get those winter stays booked in.

🚐 DAYCARE SPACES
We currently have a small number of regular weekly spaces on the Fluff Doggy Bus on Wednesdays & Fridays.

Daycare is perfect if you’re working, heading out for the day, or simply want your dog to have a fun day of play, exercise and socialisation with their pals. 🐕🐾

All new dogs have a consultation first so we can get to know them and make sure Sandy Paws is the right fit for them.

Holiday closure:

That’s us officially closed from 6pm today, and we’ll be back on Monday 17th August at 8am ready to welcome all our lovely dogs for another busy few months at Sandy Paws. Thank you for your patience with our slower-than-usual replies recently, and for the incredible kindness and understanding you’ve shown after the loss of my lovely mum. She was one of Sandy Paws’ biggest supporters, and your support has reminded us how lucky we are to have the best customers. Thank you all so much, and we’ll see you soon 🤍

📅 5th August – Closing at 6pm for all services📅 Reopening Monday 17th August at 8am

If you’re looking for something to do next weekend, come along to the Auchencrow Gala! ❤️

Honestly, it’s always such a lovely day. 🫶 One of the friendliest little communities you’ll come across, with a great atmosphere and plenty of friendly faces.

There’s even a fun pet show if you fancy bringing your pet along… although I can’t enter mine because I’d be absolutely raging if they didn’t win! 😂🐾

St James Quarter is super dog friendly! 🐾 From water stations and loads of dog-friendly shops to FREE dog prams and backpacks you can pre-book if your pup needs a rest.

Definitely one to save for your next day out! ❤️

Alan… I’ve visited your place. Now it’s your turn to come and see mine. 🐶😂

You know Alan Carr’s bought Ayton Castle! I was reporting it on my socials before the papers caught up. 😂☀️ Get me on the news… because they’re clearly sh*te 🙄

Was I 100% hoping to bump into him? Absolutel 😂 I reckon we’d be pals. He loves animals, I love animals… we’d have a right good crack.

Mind, I’ve loved Ayton Castle long before Alan moved in. Jonny’s from Ayton and I’m from Eyemouth, so we always have the same banter about what place is better 😂

Jonny: “Aye, but Ayton’s got a castle.”
Me: “Aye… but Eyemouth’s got a harbour.” 😂

Plus, both our sisters got married in marquees here 💕

I did think about posting a Sandy Paws flyer through Alan’s door… but there was security covering every inch of the place tonight because of the auction and a wedding. 😂 The security were lovely though—I ended up chatting away to one of the guys who’s heading to Lindisfarne Festival to do security in a few weeks time. I promised him I will behave 😂

Saw my favourite tree. 🌳💕 can you spot it .. It looks absolutely magical every time I see it.

The only disappointment tonight? No peacocks! 🦚 Well… one in the distance, but it refused to pose for the camera. I absolutely love them and have you heard the sound they make it’s majestical
