Tilly and Layla absolutely living their best lives with full‑speed zoomies across the grass today — pure happy‑holiday chaos 🐾💃✨

Then Bud and Elvis trotted in like the Zoomie Police 🚓😂
“Alright ladies… fun’s cute… but we’ll just bring the energy down now.”
Their little boy‑vibes crack me up every time — steady, sensible, and totally adorable 💛🐶

This is what I love: different personalities, perfectly matched, all settling into a safe, calm, well‑managed environment. Some doggies zoom, some potter, some supervise… and it all works beautifully because everything is thoughtfully integrated 🌼✨

Meet‑and‑greets, trial walks and an overnight stay mean even new dogs slot right into our routines. Happy, harmonious, joyful little friendships — exactly what Sunflower Cottage is all about 🌻💛🐾

🌻 SUNFLOWER COTTAGE PET CARE — THE BYES CREW 🌻

We headed to the BYES Sidmouth nice and early this morning and the gang were READY 😂🐾
Budleigh, Tully, Moose and Elvis all hopped out like “OKAYYYY LET’S GO!” 🌞

It was lovely and quiet… until my lot arrived 🤣
Huge open spaces around the sports fields, then through the nature reserve, along the water’s edge and over the little bridges — honestly it’s BEAUTIFUL 💛🌿🌊

TULLY & MOOSE were in full explorer mode… in the bushes… out the bushes… in the water… out the water… repeat x100 😂🐶🌱
Elvis did his happy trot the whole way, just vibing and minding his business 💕
And Budleigh got over‑excited (no surprise 😅) and zoomed around with Moose like two tiny hooligans ✨🐾

Everyone said good morning, loads of lovely dog walkers, blue skies, sunshine… just a proper gorgeous walk with my little gang 🌞💛

THE BYES = 10/10 doggy joy 🌻🐾

A lovely few walkies over the weekend 🐾💛
Daisy joined us for some sweet strolls, Elvis enjoyed his happy little walkies, and Tully & Moose had double adventures with woodland exploring and park zoomies 🌲✨
Today we finished it all off with a special trip to Budleigh — driftwood sniffing, pebble exploring and salty‑nose fun for the whole gang 🌊🐶💛

The friendship that’s grown between Moose and Budleigh is something really special.
Budleigh isn’t like this with every dog — some he simply ignores — but Moose came into our life as a tiny puppy with the softest, sweetest, most gentle nature. Even when Budleigh gave his little growly terrier warnings at first, Moose just melted into him with calmness, kindness and total trust… and Budleigh was completely won over.

Now he treats Moose like a little brother, and Tully fits in just the same. Watching them roll around together, cuddle on the sofa, lick each other’s faces and settle into that soft, safe rhythm is honestly one of the sweetest parts of what I do. And when they go home, Budleigh really does look at me as if something’s missing.

He definitely has a type — the little cockapoos, the fluffy furries, all the girls… and yes, even his Springer Spaniel girlfriend (despite his usual opinions on spaniel boys!). But truly, it’s all about character.

We carefully curate the dogs who come to stay so everyone feels as relaxed and comfortable as this. Not every dog will bond with Budleigh like a brother — but when they do, it’s adorable, and it’s real.

Every dog who stays here is loved, understood and cared for by me 100%. And if they’re lucky, they might just become Budleigh’s little sibling for the week — cherished, safe, and treated like the princes and princesses they truly are
