🖤 IT’S INTERNATIONAL VULTURE DAY! 🖤

And obviously, we couldn’t let the day pass without celebrating two rather special, slightly questionable members of the Hawkridge family…

Meet Spirit, our 6-year-old Turkey Vulture, and Doris, our 1-year-old Turkey Vulture. 😍

Beautiful? Absolutely.
Full of personality? Definitely.
Always perfectly behaved angels? We’ll move swiftly on… 👀😂

Today, to celebrate International Vulture Day, why not adopt one of our vultures? 🖤

Kids cove Exmouth what an amazing afternoon , I think everyone had a great time , I know "chalky" did .

We are absolutely blown away to announce that our final total raised from the event is an incredible £859.10! 😱❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. Whether you donated, bought raffle or tombola tickets, treated yourself to some cake, made a donation during the owl handling, or simply came along to support the day, every single contribution helped us reach this amazing total.

A very special thank you to Kids Cove for kindly hosting the event for us and for all their support. ❤️

And, of course, thank you to everyone who gave their time, donated prizes and cakes, helped behind the scenes and worked so hard to make the event such a success.

Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre’s Family Fun Afternoon Fundraiser is happening TODAY at Kids Cove, Exmouth! ❤️

⏰ 2pm–5pm

Come along, have some fun and help us raise vital funds for the future of our beautiful birds.

After 18 years at our current location, Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre now needs to relocate and begin the huge task of rebuilding at a new home.

Every penny raised today will go directly towards that rebuild. 🦅🏡

We want to continue doing what we love: providing education, conservation and lifelong care and support for these magnificent birds of prey. But we can’t do it without you.

Whether you come for the raffle, bring the children for an afternoon of fun, buy a slice of cake or simply help us spread the word, every bit of support makes a difference.
