🐶 These lovely girls came to see us for their grooms and are a perfect example of how Cockerpoos can differ.

Being a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle leaves your dog open to a variety of sizes and coat types,
🌟 curly poodle type coats
🌟 wavy coats�🌟straighter spaniel type coats
🌟combinations of the above

🐩 Whilst Cockerpoos are often thought to be non-shedding, this isn’t strictly true. While some may not actually drop hair., even the poodle type coats still lose fur. If not properly brushed out, this loose fur gets caught up in their coat and if not removed can become matted quite quickly.

Regular grooming, combined with daily line brushing at home will ensure that your Cockerpoos coat stays mat free and comfortable for your dog 💖

A regular grooming schedule goes deeper than just looking and smelling good. It offers many benefits for both you and your pup

🐾 Keeps coat free from dirt, tangles and mats, which can be uncomfortable or even painful for your pup 🐾

🐾 Removes dead and loose hair contributing to healthy coat and skin - not to mention less floof decorating your house 🐾

🐾 Offers potential to spot changes to skin, or any lumps and bumps early on. Whilst it’s definitely not an alternative to seeing your vet about anything unusual, it can help to notice any changes early so you can book in with your vet 🐾

🐾 Allows your dog to become familiar with us, the environment and the grooming process, so they can enjoy their pamper sessions and leave happy and stress free 🐾

Your pup’s coat and maintenance in between grooms will help determine the best grooming frequency for them.

We have moved! 🐾

You’ll notice when you arrive that we’ve moved location. You’ll now find us down the back of the driveway near the garage.

As always, we have a lot of nervous dogs that are reliant on the 1-1 environment. If you are early for your appointment please wait in your car or down around the front/outside the gate, and allow space for the dogs before you as they leave. Please ignore any other dogs you see when dropping off or picking up, and do not approach them or try to interact.

Please also avoid ringing the doorbell to the house, as this sets our own anxious boy off and we then have to settle our own pups before we make it out to you.

We’ve extended to allow more appointments to be opened up but don’t worry, your pups will still be getting the one on one attention they deserve. If your pup is particularly reactive, have a chat with us and we can always make sure they have the place to themselves while they are here 💜

For those who may be a little nervous or need their own space, nothing will change. We’ve expanded to allow each pup their own time and space, with no interruption from others to keep them happy and stress free. Walk-through tour coming soon👀

We would like to thank all of our amazing clients and their pups for their patience and understanding as we navigated through some personal family issues and loss throughout the first part of this year.

We’re now getting back into the swing of things and have a few small changes coming up (more on this soon).

❗️Updates to prices and policies❗️
Just a post to let everyone know that now we are in April, we will be implementing a price increase across our services due to continuing increases to supply and running costs. These increases will bring our starting prices up as follows for breed sizes:
🐾 small breeds starting from £40
🐾 medium breeds starting from £45
🐾 large breeds starting from £50
🐾 extra large breeds starting from £55

Please note these are starting prices for basic short grooms and tidy ups, and this price can increase from here for longer length clips and de-sheds. Price and groom as always will be dependent on the dogs coat condition and behaviour. If any existing clients would like to confirm their new price in advance of appointments, please don’t hesitate to drop us a message and we will let you know.

Also, some of you are already aware of our new terms and conditions going into place over the past month. Some of you have signed these already, if not these will need to be signed at your next drop off. To make it clear for everybody, the following changes have been made:
✔️Cancellation policy extended to 48 hours - unfortunately we’ve had increasing last minute rescheduling and cancellations for some time now. When this happens, we are often unable to fill that appointment slot as it is too short notice for people to get their dogs to us. We have extended this to 48 hours in the hopes we have a little more time to fill any last minute slots, and cancellation or changing of appointment within the 48hr time frame may require a fee of 50% before further appointments will be made.

✔️Late drop off and pick up - due to us operating a one on one environment for our more anxious dogs, we have to stick to strict appointment times to ensure we do not not have dogs overlapping. Dropping off any later than 15 minutes after your appointment time will result in your appointment needing to be rescheduled, and a late cancellation fee will be charged. We will also be implementing late pick up fees, as late collection results in us having to push back our next dogs. These fees will be £5 per 15 minutes over your agreed collection time. (Eg. 15-30 minutes after time + £5 / 30-45 minutes + £10 etc.)

Thank you all for your understanding with these changes so far, and for trusting us with your pups. We hope to keep seeing all of your lovely dogs, but we completely understand if you need to cancel any future appointments you have booked with us as a result of these changes. If you need to cancel, we ask that you please reach out as soon as possible and let us know. Equally if you would like to book in then please message us as we are currently fully booked until mid June.

Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful clients and pups!🎄A massive thank you for all of your support this year and all the cards and gifts this month. We couldn’t do this without all of you trusting us with your dogs, and your consistent support is truly appreciated!
