It was a wild and windy day in the hills of Exmoor at the exposed but beautiful Bratton Down, Just Loose Change wins again for the Pointing and Port Syndicate, this time he was ridden by James Shaw to provide the fastest time of the day!! The pair set off to make all and that is exactly what they did!

There is nothing like winning your local hunt race!!!!

This time it’s was Just Loose Change for the Pointing and Port Syndicate. With Edd Doggrell doing the steering it was a great winning ride from the front. It was a wonderful day out and it was fantastic to have all syndicate members there to celebrate, a big mention must go to the Devon and Somerset Stag Hounds for the prizes and their hospitality

It’s been a busy few weeks … and in all the chaos Alice Frampton on the mighty Wick Green (aka Charlie) got their first win as a combination on only Alice’s 3rd attempt, they won the level 2 conditions race at flete park which was an emotionally charged memorial race for the Morgan family who are very special family friends of the Framptons. Never the less Alice and Charlie held their nerve and in the end they were the only combination to finish, what a team! 🥇🏆🏇💨

Sunday at larkhill was the perfect start to Alice Framptons point to point jockeyship! Wick Green(aka Charlie) and Alice headed off for their first attempt at 3 miles and 18 fences as a new combination. What more could we want from the combination other than to finish 5th of 15 runners. They got to learn about each other and give each other the confidence needed to jump from fence to fence around one of Englands most prolific point to point tracks!

Thank you to the Framptons for allowing us to have a horse like Charlie in the string, he is a superstar and will teach Alice every time they run! We can’t wait to watch them progress through the season ⭐️🏇💨

On Sunday we went to larkhill ... “one of them days” ... Good news is the horses had a good time (photo for proof of how happy the grey horse Just loose change was) and are home safe and sound, ready to go another day! On wards and upwards

It was Great to get racing for the first time this season yesterday with 2 runners at the first seasonal Devon & Cornwall Point-To-Point Area point to point at Dunsmore.

Just Loose Change ran in the mixed open and Walter Barnett took the ride for the “pointing a port syndicate”
He ran a respectable 3rd in a good race and will hopefully progress for the run
lucky so and so again was 3rd in the restricted, made all and jumped well through out, this time Tanisha Little was in the plate, hopefully softer ground next time will help his chances
