Meet Juke

A lovely unspoiled young horse that would make a great project for someone with a smaller budget…

Juke has been broken and riding for approximately 4 weeks, he is hacking alone & in company and has seen plenty of traffic and been in open spaces.

Juke is a big young horse that still needs to mature and we feel that Juke would benefit from a slow production whilst he develops - we have our 3YO’s to bring in for breaking and sadly we can’t do it all…

If he doesn’t find a home his education will continue with us over the winter.

** New home now found 🏡 As we expected, the first little girl to meet her fell completely in love! 🥰 **

Such an incredibly sad post for us to write 💔

Our dear little Pony will be looking for a new family to love her as much as we do…

She has taken our children from never sitting on a horse to cantering along the beach solo!

She respects children’s legs and doesn’t have to be repeatedly asked to go forwards, we truly believe she loves her job! Pony is forgiving on learning hands and she doesn’t mind a wobble.. the type that will lift her head to put her little person back in the saddle.

She hacks out on the lead rein, or will lead or follow independently - she’s ridden along busy roads through Exeter regularly past buses, motorbikes and vans with no concern at all - all she cares about is looking after her little person. She’s been hacked alone with novice adults and dogs in tow!

She’ll walk around the yard with little people and always looks out for little toes.

We’ve had her as a lead rein & a first ridden - she’s been sadly outgrown before our children could progress further but that’s the job she’s brilliant at!

🦄 Her name is actually “Pony!” & she really is a little persons best friend…

Ziggy & Nellie XC schooling today at Southcott XC - it’s clear how much effort goes into maintaining this venue and it’s looking and riding amazingly!

Their first time XC schooling and we were blown away by their attitude 👏🏼

We take a huge amount of pride in our young horses, we ensure that all the groundwork and preparation is done so that they can come out and perform like this, without feeling overfaced or overwhelmed and genuinely enjoying themselves!!

We thought it was the perfect opportunity to introduce the foals, Nico & Lunar, to the hosepipe whilst their momma’s had a wash & I think they’re suitably impressed with its cooling abilities!! 💦

Quite possibly one of the WILDEST horses we’ve EVER bought (or in fact even seen 🤣) he really caught our eye though and we love his breeding - he was completely unhandled and terrified of everyone (and everything!) In all honesty we never thought this day would come with him so to have actually taken him on his first outing away from home and him behave as amazingly as he did was quite emotional for us!

A lovely day on Sunday at The EDH fun ride 🐶

Guinness (Black) & Cleary (Chestnut) were exceptional from start to finish.

Happy to lead of follow, unphased by their surroundings - they didn’t take a pull all day and were truly lovely to ride!!
