We had a weekend away in Devon, and this was one of my favourite moments.
What followed was the two of them stealing the ball back and forth from each other.
P knows the toy is only fair game if it isn't in Freya's mouth. So every time she put it down to investigate sg, he would dive in and grab it. Pure speed and brute force.
Freya, however, had a much more sophisticated strategy. She'd suddenly become intensely interested in something on the ground, and P couldn't resist barging over to have a sniff too. Freya would casually wander off... then the moment P put the toy down to investigate properly, she'd swoop back in and steal it.
This endless loop went on for ages 😂
