💚🌈 WHO’S THE HUMAN BEHIND THE BUSINESS? 🐾🏡

Hey everyone! 👋 I thought I’d share a little bit about me for those who might be new to my page!

I’m Polly, owner of Polly Bartlett Home and Pet Care 🧹🐶

I started my little business back in 2021, when I had been a Stay at Home Mum for a few years and couldn't face another boring office job, and here I am, still doing what I love – helping people with their homes and caring for their pets! ❤️

A few things about me just for fun....

🐾 I’m a HUGE animal lover, since an early age I've just loved being around them and it makes me so happy to meet so many new little friends. At home I have 2 dachshunds, 3 cats and Ernie the tortoise, they are all huge characters and keep me busy whenever i'm not at work!

🌈 I believe in being friendly, reliable and completely non-judgemental. You never need to feel embarrassed about your home or apologise for the mess. I'm there to help, not to judge.I love all cleaning but my favourite cleans have to be deep cleans as I just love to get stuck in. I also love to help neurodivergent clients and families who need a helping hand to get back on top of things. I understand the struggles first hand (my household is a little neurospicy 😆)and how a clean and clear space helps a busy mind.

❤️ I LOVE a bargain, absolutely love a charity shop, car boot sale, vinted haul or a trip to B&M/Home bargains.

🍣 I'm a HUGE foodie! I'm happiest when eating, cooking or just browsing at a farm shop or M&S. My favourite food is probably Thai or Vietnamese, a good roast, or giant plate of picky bits!

🤪 I don't get much chance to be crazy these days but I have always been a bit impulsive and it wasn't unknown for me to move cities on a whim, change jobs regularly as I was bored, dye my hair different colours of the rainbow or say yes to anything that sounded fun with no second thought. I once booked a 1 way ticket to Australia when I was 19 and left the next week with no plan (or money 😆)You wouldn't think so now, as I'm boring in my older age but I am still that scatty,crazy teenager inside 😅

So, whether you’ve followed me for years or have only just found my page, thank you for being here and supporting my little business. It genuinely means a lot! 🥰

Sunbathing with a cuppa ✔️ washing drying ✔️ furry companion ✔️ Home day with the family catching up on life admin after a mental week of work ✔️

Anyone else hit that summer holidays wall? Utterly exhausted today but thankful for wonderful clients keeping me so busy (along with my kids of course) Summer holidays are always crazy as a pet sitter/cleaning business owner/mum but my heart is full from seeing so many of your fluffy friends 🐈

Another big one next weekend for the bank holiday where I think I have a record amount of pets to see, but we can rest in September right? ❤️

Just wanted to share a great way to get meds into cats/dogs that one of my clients uses.

They are little churro bites filled with mousse that you can just slide a tablet in, definitely getting some for my crew!

You can get them on Amazon or Pets at home 🐈

A few recents :)

Super busy rest of summer booked in for pet visits, I'll be in touch a few days before your bookings to check in, I can't wait to see all my little pals ❤️

Cleaning wise, I'm doing my best to keep things fair, but some cleans may be moved or pushed back a week or so as I have my little people home all summer and I'm having to book things in on the days I have childcare, which may not be your usual day etc.

Sending solidarity to all the other parents trying to wing it until September, we can only do our best 🙏
