This mighty fine feline is Meg. She is an amazing 20 years old. Due to her age, today’s groom was just about getting her comfortable, as she had extensive matting on her back and hips. Meg showed perfect manners throughout the whole groom and just sat on my lap meowing all her news to me. The matting was all carefully clipped off and the rest of her coat had a comb through. I just love the golden oldies. What a fabulous girlie!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Bill. He is the housemate of a regular groomee. Bill is 17, so self grooming has become a bit more ouchy for him and although he’s short haired he’d developed a matted area on his back. This was quickly taken care of for him, as well as a comb out and a manicure and pedicure. Bill was a perfect gent through the whole groom and absolutely loved his lick-e-lix. What a grand boy!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Charley. He’s a regular nail trim client, but today he was booked in for the full mighty fine spa treatment! He took it all in his stride and showed impeccable manners and a very sensible attitude to grooming. He then did a very satisfied sprawl on the floor, looking very pleased with himself. What a gorgeous hunk of a cat!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Franklin. He has met me before for a nail trim, but today he was treated to a full groom. He’s only a youngster and is already very fluffy. His owners keep his coat in excellent condition and aside from two clumpy bits, it was just a comb out that was needed. Franklin also had his usual manicure and pedicure, as well as an eye and ear clean and a little botty trim too. He was a perfect boy throughout and looked rather pleased with himself afterwards. Well done Franklin. What a handsome boy!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Tipsy. She’s 18 years old. As can happen with senior cats, she had 4 problematic claws which were starting to grow into her paw pads. I think Tipsy understood what needed to be done and sat perfectly still whilst I carefully sorted it all out for her. The relief would have been instant for her and the pads were all cleaned up successfully and with regular nail trims she shouldn’t have any further claw problems. Tipsy also had a full groom and was good as gold throughout. She even hung around as I was clearing up afterwards. What a stunning girlie!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Bumper. He was an absolute sweetheart for his first groom with me today. Bumper is a British shorthair, so his fur is very dense. He had rather a lot of dead undercoat caught up in his coat, with several clumpy matted bits. He was a perfect gent and sat patiently on my lap whilst I combed it all out for him. Well done Bumper, 10/10 for attitude to grooming. What a beautiful boy!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Wh***ey. He has quite strong opinions about being groomed and was keen to put up a fight in response to the indignity of being held and combed. However, with a bit of lick-e-lix persuasion, he reluctantly agreed to me removing all his dead undercoat and clumpy bits. The bit that I was dreading was in between his back legs as many cats hate that area being done but bizarrely Wh***ey was good as gold for that bit, proving you can never predict anything with cats!! Well done Wh***ey, hopefully you’ll get used to grooming and come to realise that it’s not actually too bad being a pampered puss. What a gorgeous boy!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Michael. It was his first groom today and he wasn’t too sure what to make of it all. Michael is a big boy and extremely strong, so it was a bit of a workout trying to get him to stay still. However, there was no aggression at all, just some grumbles especially when being combed. He didn’t mind the clippers though, which were used to remove his mats and he was good as gold having his manicure and pedicure too. The groom is about 80-90% done and that was enough for him for today, so I’ll be back in a few weeks to finish everything off for him, as I’d much rather split a first groom into 2 sessions, than to push a cat beyond their tolerance. What a grand boy (even with a bit of lick-e-lix on his nose)!! ❤️❤️

This mighty fine feline is Donald. I was actually booked to groom his brother, who clearly had other ideas and went AWOL! So, Donald received an unexpected mighty fine spa treatment instead. He was such a good boy, a little wriggly to begin with but then settled on my lap and had the full works. His coat was hiding lots of dead undercoat and he’ll be feeling much more comfortable now. What a stunning boy!! ❤️❤️
