🐾 EAR MITES AWARENESS! 👂🐶🐱

Have you noticed your pet shaking their head or scratching their ears more than usual? Is around their ears red and irritated, are they developing dark, crumbly debris inside the ear?

🔬It could be a sign of ear mites!
Ear mites are tiny parasites that live down inside the ear canal and cause irritation and itching in both dogs and cats.

👀 Signs to look out for:
👂Ear scratching
🐶Repeated head shaking
🖤Dark coffee-ground like debris inside ears
‼️Redness or irritation around ears
😣Soreness or discomfort when touched

⚠️However itchy ears do not always mean ear mites. Ear infections, allergies and other ear problems can cause similar symptoms.

✅What should you do?
Book an appointment with your vet for advice as with the right diagnosis and treatment, your pet can get back to being comfortable again.💙

🐾 Double the cuteness! 🐶💕

These two gorgeous boys Bodhi & Chase were in visiting us this morning for their second vaccinations in our Lisnaskea practise! 💉🐾

Both were super brave and enjoyed plenty of cuddles and attention from our team! 🥰

Unfortunately we had a deceased Entire Male Border Collie pup roughly 4/5 months old handed in today. His coat is white with brindle markings. He was found on the Ballydoolagh Road opposite Garvary Church. He had no collar on and was not microchipped.

If anyone knows who owns him or has any information get in contact with the practice on 02866322053.

Teddy received lots of love and cuddles and was such a brave boy! 🥰

🤎🖤Lottie the Doberman visited us for her second vaccination today! 💉
She showed us her lovely sit, enjoyed lots of treaties, and made friends with everyone. Well done Lottie! 🐾
