Stone obsession in dogs can be really hard on the dog and owner as there is often a very real bite risk and ingestion risk.
Therefore, getting breed needs met becomes its own challenge.

Reward recall while they’re little. That is most times you say their name. Don’t wait for birds/rabbits/squirrels/dogs/strangers to do it instead.

Recall basically removes the need to train a leave it, it reduces resource guarding, stops jumping at strangers, stops rolling and makes it 2 billion times easier to meet their exercise requirements which sky rocket at the exact moment your recall is going to go to s**t if you’ve bumbled through the puppy stage thinking you’ve got lucky and don’t need to bother.
