Whilst we do have a small band of actual Poo Fairies, it is everyone's responsibility to pick up after their dogs. Please keep to your side of the bargain and we'll keep ours.

📨📨 Text Message Update 📨📨

Text messages are working again but only if you OPT IN at booking. We are unable to change the wording of the Opt In check box and it reads like you're agreeing to marketing. We will never use your phone number for anything other than reminders or urgent messages about your booking.

If you don't want your gate code by text message that's fine; it will always be in the reminder email too.

And for those of you who have forgotten what it looks like, Woody is enjoying lush green grass thanks to Woodlands Farm Dog Fields while we're on holiday. The Activity Meadows are in the capable hands of

There is a system problem sending out the text message reminders with the gate code. The email reminders are working and have all the information you need including the gate code.
We'll let you know as soon as the text messages are back up and running but in the meantime, check your email instead 📨

🐾🐾 CRACKS 🐾🐾

Our Meadows are dry and cracked, and with no rain forecast it's only going to get worse.

We're solid clay soil so it's inevitable and there is nothing we can do about it. We used to fill the cracks but have learned over the last 12 years that it's pointless. It doesn't help long term and doesn't prevent them from developing further.

Please be aware of the possibilities of cracked and uneven ground, just as you would anywhere when walking your dogs.

What do you think of the new climbing platform?

Obviously with the hot weather we've only had a few cooler morning/evening slots available but if you have managed to book one, what did your dogs make of their new obstacle?

Any photos for us?

We will ALWAYS reschedule your booking during hot weather. If you are too late to do it yourself just drop us an email.

Beautiful or untidy?

I am firmly Team Beautiful, both because of the way the bindweed looks climbing Woody's Fountain but also because of the way it supports the pollinators our farming neighbours need.

We consciously choose not to strim unless the grasses and plants are impacting safe use of equipment or spaces.

We are a Dog Activity Meadows for a reason ❤️
